Me and my friends (6 in total) stayed there for an incredible week. The view was absolutely stunning. Nothing like waking up and looking outside the windows to an incredible view of the beach. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. Everything you can possibly need in a kitchen to cook a full dinner was available at the house. We really enjoyed our stay there, and I look forward in renting this place out again. Roy was very accommodating, and made sure that he was easily reachable if any problem arises. This is a very beautiful place, definitely worth it.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

My adult children and I just spent a wonderful week at this condo. The view and location are awesome! We spent many nights grilling on the deck, enjoying sunsets and watching the many surfers in this beautiful ocean setting. The condo was clean, well-equipped and spacious. We walked down to the Manhattan Beach pier everyday, enjoyed the shops and restaurants, rented bikes and just enjoyed being so close to the ocean. I hope that we are able to return again soon.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at this gem over a weekend in May 2010. The property was very clean, with a nice layout. We loved the well done kitchen, which was open to the dining area and living room. This great great-room was lined with glass doors that opened to a large deck and gorgeous ocean views. The deck was a favorite, with two seating areas, tons of room, and a bbq. The proximity to the ocean was amazing. We saw many dolphins close to the shore. We also appreciated that there were 2 parking spots in a closed garage. Roy, the owner, was extremely nice, accommodating and attentive. It was a remarkable way to spend the weekend and we hope to return again very soon!

My husband and I stayed here in December 2009. The first thing that you notice is the AMAZING VIEW of the Pacific Ocean that fills an entire wall of the apartment. We never even turned on the TV because we were mesmerized by the giant waves rolling in sometimes covered in surfers giving us quite a show. We watched them surfing and the pelicans gliding over the waves and amazing sunsets that transformed the view into a panorama of color. At night we saw millions of stars and spectacular moon sets. OK about the apartment. There is everything you need to be comfortable. Generous sized bedrooms and bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. The furninshings are beautiful and functional. The granite countertops in the kitchen and baths are a nice touch. We ate in a lot but there are two great Mexican places nearby within walking distance. You need a car to get around but there is a garage and designated parking places. Manhattan Beach is quiet and safe and friendly. It has attractive beachy architecture and very clean streets and beaches. We were the only ones on the beach except for the surfers who you only see from a distance. It was the perfect romantic get away for us and our host was most accommodating and helpful. It's perfect for families, a girls getaway vacation or surfers who need to be close to the best waves. You will not be disappointed!
