A time to create new family memories await you as you take a step back in time at Cedar Creek Lake in Tool, Texas, one hour southeast of Dallas. This property is situated directly on the lake and is graced by Mallard ducks strolling on the lawn and squirrels scurrying about in the trees. Our picturesque and protected cove is in a no wake zone and offers ideal swimming, fishing and kayaking. If you choose to bring your boat, the homeowner association's launch ramp is right next door and your dock is directly behind the house, or you may use the lift if your boat size fits.

Just imagine breakfast at sunrise on the covered porch overlooking the lake, a day of water sports or just relaxing in the serenity of the property, a sunset dinner on the boat dock, and at day's end, winding down with the family at the game table. The memories for a lifetime have just begun!

We encourage you to come to see the property before committing to a rental. We require a two night minimum rental and three night minimum rental on holiday weekends. Weekly rentals or longer can be structured to suit your needs given availability, see the calendar below. We request payment in full on reservation, and will assess a cancellation fee of one night's rent if not canceled 14 days or more prior to your scheduled visit.

Both bedrooms feature king size beds, the master has bath with shower only adjoining, and the second bathroom has tub/shower. There is a sleeper sofa in the game room and a comfortable overstuffed couch in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and dinnerware plus some condiments. A charcoal grill and smoker are provided.

  • Just returned from a girls weekend at this house on Cedar Creek Lake. It was absolutely wonderful! The house was absolutely spotless, the cleansest rental property I've ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything we needed and more (except food). The view of the lake is spectacular and the living room and both bedrooms have a full lake view. We will definitely be going back next year!
