We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation this year at your condo. We've been vacationing on AMI for over 30 years but this year we especially loved our stay for many reasons. The location of the condo is ieal with just a very short walk down a sandy beach road and there it is..the most beautiful beach ever, so close we could go bak and forth to pick up drinks for the beach or lunch in just minutes. The condo itself is very clean, spacious and comfortable, a largebright kitchen well equiped with everything one needs to feel at home. The TV's have "millions" of channels which we enjoyed in the living room and bedroom. Both bedrooms are roomy..the very large master bedroom has a "beachy" theme with an exceptionally comfortable king size bed. We loved spending time in the sunroom which had a great view of the Gulf. The pool area is pretty and well maintained with both shade area and sunning area..never busy when we were there. Many days w were the only one's at the pool..nice and private. The rooftop deck is especially great to watch sunsets..we took some beautiful photos. Thank you for making sure our vacation was memorable.Did you find this review helpful? We really had a great vacation. The condo was wonderful and nicely equipped with everything we could ask for. The location was awesome with the beach so close and great view. We used the book of menus and found some great places to eat. We would love to come back to the Iskland again. I love the way it is so laid back and not so commercialized. “My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the condo for Thanksgiving week 2012. We could not have had found more enjoyable accommodations. Anna Maria Island is a quaint Florida beach town and this location is near perfect with its proximity to the beach and shopping. And the beach is truly beautiful – soft sands, lots of shells, and perfect for long walks at dawn or sunset. The condo is set up very comfortably and if you choose not to dine out at one of the island’s many nice eating establishments, the kitchen is perfect for preparing your own meals. It is a BEAUTIFUL property , has everything you need for a beach vacation, you just need to bring cloth and personal staff. Was clean and well maintained. Everything is as a photos show. Near the beach as the ad says. Beautiful clear crystal beaches. yes , I would recommend this propertyRecommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I would rate this 5 star if the pool had not been out of service being refitted. The condo was as advertised: clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well thought out for utensils, and my wife liked the things like the pull out mirror and wall mounted hair driers in the bathrooms, plus the beach towels and fleece throw for the cooler days provided. The screen/glass lanai was great as we had a couple of cold windy days. We felt right at home, down to the taste in books and DVDs. We hope to return.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: My wife and I purchased the unit with the idea that we would ultimately retire to AMI. Our furnishings and other touches reflect the fact that we use the place a lot ourselves and enjoy the beach so much. I promise you that there isn't a better value on the Island. We've added all new furniture and bedding and towels and sheets and comforters. The place feels like home and I'vew been told that our visitors couldnt feel more at home even with the addition of our own book and DVD's.
Why the Owner Chose Holmes Beach:
We decided to purchase this property because we originally thought thst this was going to be our retirement home and we were perfectly happy with that. As time went on, we were approached more and more to rent it and decided that we would go down that road and have been doing that ever since. I take pride in offereing a very clean and enviting environment for my guests and I think we have accomplished that. We have taken pains to replace those old items with newer models and replace some things with more effecient and better ones. We enjoy hearing about others vacations and how they enjoyed the unit.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There isn't a better equipped and better located unit on AMI. You can walk to shopping as well as the beach. Its great to come off the beach and go to the pool and just enjoy what Anna Maria has to offer.
