Located at the SandPiper Village I condo complex, within the beautiful community of the Princeville Resort. This second floor condo affords you full advantage of the constant sea borne trade winds and the ocean views from the 2 bedroom lanai, the master bedroom and the loft. High vaulted ceilings add to the sense of openness and space.
The condo units at Sandpiper Village I in Princeville are designed and built as really two condos in one. There are two outside entrances on the entry landing with one entrance leading to a large bedroom with private bath and lanai; this is the studio (approx. 300 s/f). The other entrance leads to a much bigger space, the 2 bdrm 2 bath unit, (approx. 900 s/f) which has a large master bedroom and bath, a full kitchen, a living room, dining area, large private lanai (approx. 175 s/f) and a bedroom with full bath in the loft (this unit is the only rental unit at Sandpiper that has a full bath in the loft). There is an internal door that connects the two spaces which can be locked from either side so both these spaces can be rented separately as a studio and 2 bdrm condo or combined into a 3 bdrm 3 bath condo.
The owners of Sandpiper 234 have just completed a major renovation which has taken about six months. All floors of the condo are now ceramic tile. All three baths now have large porcelain tiled showers, with the kitchen counter and master bath vanety tops tiled as well. All the kitchen appliances are brand new along with the lighting fixtures. All the ceiling areas have been filled with insulation and faced with 2-ply bamboo sheeting. Along with fresh paint throughout, all electrical outlets and switches have been replaced and additional outlets added.
A cook top and oven are not available within the studio (please see "studio amenities" below). However there are Webber gas barbeque grills available for guests to use on a complimentary basis at the large pool complex, located less than a minute's walk from the unit. Hot meals prepared in this manner can either be enjoyed at the pool or taken back to the studio.
The Princeville Resort is located on Kauai's North Shore where you are just minutes away from exploring her many wondrous attractions such as pristine, secluded beaches, the best Kauai has to offer. Great snorkeling, windsurfing, board surfing, or swimming are just minutes away as well. A hike on the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali Coast reveals unparalleled vistas of ocean, mountains, waterfalls, and sheer cliffs that will stay with you forever. My wife, Rachel, and I first visited Kauai in the early eighties and just got hooked. We dreamed that one day we might be able to make Kauai our permanent home, and we were fortunate to actually make this happen in January of 2006. My wife still works as a flight attendant and I am retired (for all the guys out there, I'll be writing a book soon about how the make that happen). However, I keep busy managing Sandpiper 234 and another Princeville vacation property we bought in 2010, a 3 bdrm 2 bath townhouse at Puamana. You can find the listing right here on VRBO # 320057. We have a great introductory rate right now. One of the advantages of living here on Kauai and offering vacation properties for rent is that any issues with unit that may arise are addressed immediately and decisively through direct communication between the guest and me, the owner. There is no go-between management company in the loop to delay any action that may be required.

My family had a wonderful stay here in July 09.The layout of the condo is very family friendly,my kids loved the sleeping loft and staircase.The kitchen is very well appointed with all the basics and much more.We also found the other residents and guests in the complex to be very friendly,the community BBQs are a lot of fun.We plan on returning in 2011.Don't miss this great vacation value!

Comments: I absolutely enjoyed the 2 bedroom unit I stayed at in Sandpiper. It was large, well layed out, very comfortable, had several large fans, and was very clean - no bugs at all. The lanai is large. It was one of my favorite units I stayed at during my month long trip to Kauai. Karl was very kind and easy to book with. Aloha Karl!And Mahalo for making our most recent trip to the island possible. Like everyone else in this economy we were worried that we might not be able to take our usual trip. But your very reasonable rates changed that. The Studio was just what we needed! A nice launching pad for our tromps around the most beautiful place on Earth! Everything that we needed was there. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and BBQ area. I have to give a shout out to our friends at Hanalei Pizza. Best pizza in Kauai, and the most friendly people you could meet.
