A modern home, with the main living quarters on second floor, gives a great view of Long Lake and the woods. The home is located on the North end of Long Lake, on the edge of a 40-acre mixed pine and hardwood forest--great for hiking when you are tired of swimming or fishing!
The home has a large living/dining area, with a front deck off living room. The three bedrooms have a double bed (front), twin beds (back), double bed (lower bedroom), and two single beds in front lower family room. A hide-a-bed is also available in the living room. The modern kitchen has a double sink, electric stove, full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, as well as dishes, cookware, and utensils provided.
The property has 400 feet of private frontage with a shared dock. Rowboat available. Excellent fishing, boating, and swimming. The property is adjacent to additonal 600' frontage owned by cousin, insuring uncrowded privacy and sense of seclusion not obtained on most waterfront lots. (Joint rental possible.) Long Lake is a beautiful seven-mile long lake with five islands. The Long Lake Grocery is located a half mile away. Readily accessible to Interlochen Arts Camp, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Grand Traverse, Benzie, and Leelanau Counties.
