  We were a group of eight women (sisters & mother) who chose Oliver for our annual getaway weekend this year. This was the perfect accommodation for us. The beds are comfy, the kitchen extremely well stocked, lots of room for our group and the salt water pool was great (we lucked out and had nice hot weather for early May) The caretakers were friendly and informative. We enjoyed out time here so much, we are planning to return next year.

  Six of my sisters,myself and my mother spent a fabulous 3 nights here.We can become quite loud when we are together and this offered the privacy. We were easily able to visit wineries from here and enjoyed each of the ones recommmended by Linda.The home offered everything we needed and more.It was early in the season but we were still able to enjoy the salt water pool.This was our 5th annual gathering .We have travelled to various places but we are planning on returning to Stonehouse Vinyard next year.Thanks Linda for the great service.

  Jun 1-4, 2012 was the third time we have stayed at the Stonehouse Vineyard accomodation. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. We have stayed with a group each time and everyone ends up with their own bedroom, all of which are extremely nice. The kitchen has everything that could ever be needed - not just the basics. It's very easy to create wonderful meals in the kitchen or on the deluxe, large BBQ on the deck. Linda is wonderful to deal with. We would highly rate this accomodation - it's worth every penny!

  We were so impressed with the amazing accommodations at the Stonehouse! It was only minutes away from all the best wineries in Oliver as well as close to great little cafe's and grocery stores. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc which made preparing meals so easy. The house was clean and organized with tons of space perfect for a large group. Loved that we had a pool right at the house! Even though the weather was cool, the pool was still warm enough for an evening dip! The goats and chickens added a country charm to the place while the well kept grounds were perfect for dinners outside. We can't wait to go back!

  We had 7 nights of relaxation, sunshine, and fabulous mountain views from the deck. Fun evenings of BBQ's and games. Everything about the house and property exceeded our expectations! An ideal location, that's central to all the needs and activities to make a perfect vacation. Our large extended family loved the easy access to the wineries. Our adult children and grandchildren went biking, hiking, and played bocce, along with too many lawn games to mention. The huge saline pool is amazing, and we took the family boating and water-skiing at nearby lakes. We've already booked for this summer, and a September golf weekend for 4 couples ! Definitely recommend this as a great family holiday spot. Thank you Joe and Linda for making us feel so welcome. The Bowerbanks

  When all of the hotels in town were booked we were lucky enough to come across this beautiful property which was available for exactly the days we needed it. The home and property is stunning and the owners and caretakers are very accommodating. There is no end to available space for many guests with some of the rooms having a private enterence and bathroom. i would like to come back again soon with a large group of family and friends.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Thank you for providing such beautiful accommodations! My friends and I enjoyed ourselves so much. The wineries (we saw 12 of them), the golfing (St. Andrews), the view from our back deck, the beautiful appointments throughout the entire house. Kudos to the designer. Absolutely stunning! The private, saltwater pool….can’t even begin to describe. You may notice that I put in a request for the same time next year. Five of us decided we’d like to come back and bring our spouses. Nice community feel to Oliver….. Cheers,

  A group of us stayed in the beautiful property Sept 9 -11 and had an excellent time. We took full advantage of the saltwater pool as the weather was in the 30's, we enjoyed all of our meals outside on the big deck and used the new bbq grill which was huge I might add! It really felt like summer vacation for all of us and we would definately stay there again in a heartbeat.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My 2 very particular Australian girlfriends and I (and I am an innkeeper myself- so even fussier) recently spent a glorious 3 days at the "Stonehouse Estate." Everything was perfect. The attention to detail was most impressive from the extent to which the kitchen was outfitted (we love to cook), to the remarkably comfortable beds, to the detailed information provided us by Linda and Joe. They are obviously hosts who know how to do it right! It selfishly flitted through my mind that perhaps I shouldn't post this review because the place is so great that when we want to come back there won't be any availability! What a great find.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  I recently had the opportunity to escape from the cold spring in Montreal for a spectacular few days of relaxation and rejuvenation in warm Oliver with my longtime girlfriends from all over Canada. This was our second annual springtime reunion at this unique property in Oliver and we will definitely be back for a third. The house and grounds are spectacular and the photos do not do it justice. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and has excellent amenities. The kitchen is better equipped than my own and well laid out for cooking while savouring delicious Okanagan wine and catching up with old friends. Every morning we had the pleasure of soaking up the morning sun and eating a home cooked breakfast on the wrap around deck with stunning views of the mountains. The vineyard is centrally located which allowed us to visit many wineries over several days. For additional relaxation there are great spa facilities both in Oliver (Athina Day Spa) and nearby Osoyoos (Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort and Spa). For the active among us, it was easy to map out lovely running routes around the vineyards and orchards of varying distances. This is an extraordinary property not to be missed!
