The property has been recently rehabilitated. Much of the home was built 50 years ago when it was built from wood that was cut and lumbered on site. The home is surrounded by the Table Rock State Park of which you can hear nearby primitive White Oak Camp Grounds campers. You can walk to the White Oak camp grounds from the lodge, but you will need a guide to make the trek up the unmarked back side of Table Rock trail.
You can drive to Table Rock State Park either East Gate (which is closer but more scenic) or West Gate (about 1.5 miles on left-less scenic) both are within reasonable travel times. There is nearby shopping at Aunt Sue's and dining. You will need to purchase groceries before you arrive. 5 minutes to Wine Tasting, Horse Back riding, Table Rock Park, Swimming, Fishing, Hiking, Blue Grass Music, Aunt Sue's visitor center and live country porch entertainment, dining, convenience stores, shopping, and more. 10 Minutes to Ceasars Head State Park, Pretty Place, Hagood Mill.
Table Rock Park Area Vacation Rental. Close to several lakes including lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee, Pinnacle Lake, Table Rock Cove, Wine Tasting, lots of hiking, nature walks, creeks, water falls, fishing, and relaxing. This is me on top of Table Rock. 2.5 hour hike up to top. This is the Greenville Watershed in background. Awesome view of South Carolina upstate from the top.
