Why the Owner Chose Turtle Cove
We fell in love with the house when we first saw it in 2002 and bought it a year later. Designed by well-known architect Jeff Lee of Lee & Astwood Architects, it is perfectly situated to take in the beautiful ocean views and the comings and goings in Turtle Cove Marina. The apartment is used through winter as a guest suite for our many friends and relatives who visit. When we don't have guests staying with us, we rent the apartment out on a short-term basis.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
Save your $$$$.
An affordable alternative to staying in the more expensive hotel district. You still get the benefits of the beach, without the crowds and cost. Turtle Cove has a small town feel and everything you need is really close by. All the money you save can be used for umbrella drinks.

We have lived on the island for almost 10 years, and love to share our recommendations with our visitors.

My husband and I spent four nights at Villa Daisanadu during a dive trip to Provo. We were very pleased with the accommodations. We thought this apartment was the perfect spot for divers, and we would definitely rent it again. We cooked numerous meals in the well-equipped kitchen and had plenty of space on the deck to spread out our dive gear to dry it before returning home. We loved the views of the Marina and the water from the three decks. Barb, the owner, was very helpful to us before and throughout our trip. Staying at a non-beachfront location was worth it to have all the extra space and the great rental rate. The apartment is also incredibly convenient to Turtle Cove Marina, where we spent a lot of time at both the dive shop and the restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone and I hope my husband and I make it back someday!

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Villa Daisanadu, and words can't describe what a wonderful time we had! The Villa is perfectly located close to all of the activities in Turtle Cove and has easy access to a beautiful, and mostly secluded, beach with a great reef for snorkeling. The accommodations were perfect! We spent every morning for breakfast and many evenings for sunset on the balcony. We rented a car from Grace Bay Rentals, which was great as we could run all around the island, however we did spend a majority of our time in Turtle Cove. The restaurants in Turtle Cove are wonderful, especially Sharkbite...get the Shark Attack wings if you love hot sauce!! Their cracked conch is also the best on the island. Barb was a wonderful hostess and provided great recommendations! I would highly recommend this location to anyone, and can't wait to make my next trip back!!

I'm sad to be home. I miss Villa Daisanadu and I miss the Island. This was by far the best vacation we've ever taken! Villa Daisanadu is perfectly located; away from the big hotels and just a few minutes away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island. The apartment is perfect for two and can easily accommodate four. The view from the bedroom was quite a sight to wake up to every morning. Breathtaking. The apartment is fully equipped, clean and comfortable. We cooked breakfast every morning, and only ate out twice. The kitchen is fully equipped. After our sunbathing sessions (at the beach); we'd come "home" and hang out on the porch, sip on bloody mary's, check out the view and listen to some tunes. Perfection. The nearest beach is an 8 minute walk (Princess Alexandria). Most of the time my husband and I were the only one's in sight. The beach is pristine. Coral white sand...and teal blue ocean. I hate to gush but this was truly a very memorable vacation. We never went into "town" aka Grace Bay. We didn't have to. Everything we needed/wanted was at the Villa. Barb, thanks for sharing your home with us. You've thought of everything to make a home away from home. We'll be back! Just a couple of recommendations for those of you that plan to visit. Call Sunny when you need a taxi; Barb has his number programmed in the cell phone she provides with the apartment (an excellent and handy perk). He's a gentlemen and very helpful. Check out Sapodilla Bay. Spend a whole day there. Enjoy the Island for it's beauty!

Let me get my nitpicks out of the way...first I'd recommend renters to bring their own snorkel gear as the gear at the rental is very hit and miss...much of it was broken or didn't work properly. We ended up renting some of our own. Also renters are supplied with 1 set of bath towels for the week, so I'd recommend bringing some laundry soap to wash the towels midway through the week. Other than that, the rental is great. The porch is amazing, with a great view of the marina and of the Atlantic, and nice seating to have any of your meals, and a few nice sun beds to read a book or take a nap. The location is very central...15 driving minutes max to any of the beaches such as sapodilla bay, taylor bay or Long Bay...5 to 6 driving minutes to Grace Bay. Smith Reef which has very nice snorkeling was only 2 driving minutes away. Turtle Cove marina which has some fun restaurants and a coffee shop was 1 driving minute away. Inside the rental is clean and nice. The kitchen is small but efficient. We cooked several dinners, made all of our breakfasts, and most of our lunches in the kitchen and it worked just fine. There is plenty of ice to fill the cooler when you head to the beach. The bed is big and comfortable. The wifi worked great. The owner's dogs are friendly. There is Air conditioning in the bedroom, but we found that we hardly needed it, as the island's breezes just about always cool the house enough if you leave the windows open. Overall...I would say the rental is clean, comfortable, and in a great location.
Owner response:Thanks for your input, Joel. We have replaced the snorkel equipment. Barb

When you rent a place, you hope it is as good as they say. Well, Daisanadu was better than advertised! The owner greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a quick tour, pointing out things we should know. Everything you could want was there for us - coolers, beach chairs & umbrellas, corkscrews, saran wrap, pots and pans, cutting board, beach towels, scissors, etc. She thought of everything. We are already planning our trip back to the island next year and would no want to stay anywhere else!

We stayed at Daisanadu in Feb 2011. Our first impression was how clean the apartment was. It is located within walking distance to restaurants, the beach, car rental, snorkeling but we really enjoyed having a car to see the rest of the island. There always seems to be a breeze blowing so the bedroom A/C was needed only rarely. Nice views from the decks! We spent many hours searching for our accommodations for Turks and Caicos and feel that Daisanadu is a great spot at a great price.

My husband and I recently returned from our wonderful stay at Villa Daisanadu. Great value, view, ambiance. This was our 3rd trip to Provo and we wanted to stay away from the typical resort and this was perfect. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning out on our private porch with great view and always had a breeze. We loved exploring the island (cars are expensive to rent, but well worth the independence of getting anywhere you want). Take the road to Amanyara and Malcolm's beach...fun! Barb and Martin were wonderful hosts and so were Dolly and Butter. I brought cookies and spoiled them, so they were my buddies for the week, as I was missing mine at home. This truly feels like a home away from home. My husband fished and I found a great spot with shade at Coral Gardens to snorkel and beach hang. There is a bar there "Somewhere" for food and great rum punches and clean bathrooms. A wonderful vacation was had by all!!! Hope to be back soon.

Third time to Turks Caicos and each time is better and better. My husband and I wanted to have an true Turks Caicos living experience and not stay in a resort atmosphere...we were so happy to be at Villa Daisanadu. Very cozy with a gorgeous view and in a great location of Turtle Cove with 3 great places to eat and a new wonderful coffee shop. You can walk to Turtle Cove Marina, but we chose to drive, especailly at night being so dark. House sits up on a hill for view, but has a long driveway. Barb has hairdryers and everything you need for a vacation. Very quiet location and mornings sipping coffee out on the front porch with shade and view is great...even get wifi out there! Also side porch for sunning. Total privacy from owners quarters also. It is truely an affordable and adorable place to reside for a week or two. We hope to be back soon again! Found a good beach spot at Coral Gardens with shade and "Somewhere" beach bar for rum punches and they have clean bathrooms too! Butter and Dolly were a plus also!! Nice to be greated when we got back and Butter kept me company on the porch sometimes, as I bribed her with treats.

The pictures don't do the property justice. It is clean and very well maintained. Barb has thought of every little thing that a guest might need during their stay. I would highly recommend the property to anyone. I would recommend nearby restaurants Baci, The Tiki Hut, and Magnolia. Walk to the beaches of Turtle Cove and enjoy the privacy.

From the spectacular view to the proximity to the beach and other conveniences, Villa Daisanadu was the perfect vacation site. The owners were helpful but never intrusive. It was like having our own well appointed home on this tropical paradise. The most difficult decision of our day was whether to have morning coffee on the shaded porch or the sunny side deck. It was a short, easy walk to the restaurants at the marina or to the gorgeous white sand beach. It’s simply impossible to imagine a better way to start or end a day than enjoying the island breezes while looking out at the ocean and spectacular native landscape from the private deck. The photos are gorgeous but the reality is even better. We look forward to enjoying another vacation at the Villa soon.
