World class guided fly fishing is just around the corner at Leigh Creek, Teton River and Henry's Fork. You can drive 5 miles to Jedediah Smith Wilderness and hike up Coal Creek to Mt. Taylor, mountain bike up Pole Canyon or if you brought your road bike, you might want to ride out the driveway and take the bike trail from Victor to Driggs(eight miles),and ride up to Grand Targhee Ski Resort(11 miles) on smooth pavement, with almost no cars to compete with, while you get a great look at the Grand Teton. You can take a raft trip down the canyon of the Snake River, ride a horse up Darby Canyon, golf at one of six local golf courses in the area or take a day off and do a drive past the Jackson Square (22 miles) to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
This home is ideal for those interested in coming to the mountains and being surrounded by the beauty of Targhee National Forest and the Teton Mountains. The house sits in the middle of two acres and is 3 miles from the Wyoming border and two miles south of Victor, where you can find a variety of restaurants and coffee shops, a place to rent bikes and of course the local bank and atm. The back porch is less than 50 feet from a grove of thick aspen and pine trees. So enjoy your morning coffee on the back porch while you look at the trees and blue skies.
