  We loved our stay here. The place is nicely furnished and has a very well-appointed kitchen. It's also more spacious than the photos suggest; our 11-month-old had a wonderful time racing up and down the long hallway that connects the bedrooms. It's also very quiet; we didn't hear the people staying in the duplex next door. Although the ocean view out the living room window is somewhat obscured by the Shilo Inn across the street, the location is very convenient for accessing a long stretch of beach as well as the Nye Beach shopping/restaurant area.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

  Easy to find with great double garage for a start. Cool tourist areas within walking distance in addition to huge beach across the beach. So much better than hotel rooms for multiple couples. Lots of local eateries to choose from too. First class tv, internetn kitchen dining open to living room. Very clean . Get dibs on the master suite if you ca. Bed was great. No complaints about the others too.

  I stayed here at the end of August with my son, husband and parents (in their 70's), and had a really nice time. I can highly recommend it. The owner was very helpful with information, and the duplex is cozy, beautifully appointed and maintained. Kitchen (as noted) has about everything you would need. Not sure the photos completely do this property justice, although they convey the idea. Partial view of the beach was not as relevant for us because most days were pretty misty/foggy! However, it was a nice base from which to go to the Aquarium, the Bay, and Nye Beach. We walked on the beach, flew kites, and also walked to Nye Beach restaurants and shops, as well as to the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse and park.

Having a well stocked kitchen with the right appliances and cooking tools is important. I spent hours looking through my own kitchen and making lists of what was needed when I purchased everything for the duplex. I'm glad you found it to your liking.   We were very happy with our stay at this duplex. It was clean, comfortable and contained everything we could ask for and more. It was right across the street from the beach [80+ stairs access], and the beach itself was quiet, clean and beautiful. I am sure we will be back to stay!

  Thank you Nancy & Steve for sharing your lovely house with us! It was everything we hoped for and much more. The photos posted here accurately reflect the house as it is - very clean, organised and well maintained. Nancy - your beautiful decor, attention to detail (ample cutlery, nightlights in the corridors, extra fold out table and chairs, basket of sand toys in the garage, hairdryer in each bathroom), well stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances, quality furnishings and household items made us feel very welcomed and pampered indeed! The house is very centrally located with easy access to the beach, grocery, Nye Beach and the historic bayfront. We based ourselves here for 4 days and explored the stunning Oregon Coast Northwards ( Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area and Lighthouse, Agate Beach, Depoe Bay and Lincoln City) and Southwards (Waldport, Yachats, Cape Pepertua). Gorgeous! Dealing with Nancy was a pleasure and a breeze from the first e-mail I sent. There was clear instructions for everything (posted strategically) in the house and Nancy was always warm, and more than helpful and accommodating when we had questions. Don't forget to check out "Nancy's Favourites"! We did and was rewarded with a fun afternoon of watching sea lions on the habour at the bayfront. My daughter declared that one of the highlights of our trip was "Nancy's House!" and I couldn't agree with her more. We definitely will want to come back!

  Nancy's home is a beautiful and spacious place, full of light and super clean. The location was perfect for my fiancé and me since we had guests staying at the Elizabeth Street Inn across the street (it's also right across from 3 other hotels), making it very simple for our friends to drop by. You can see the ocean from the living room and walk right down to the beach. Elizabeth Street is not a high-traffic street, even in the high season. The bed was very comfortable, and there's beautiful lush greenery that the master bedroom looks out upon. She provides a gas grill, locked garage parking, all new appliances, cookware, utensils, china... jacuzzi tub... glass-walled shower... every knob, door and fixture works perfectly. She even provides a little tool kit, which was great because I needed to use the pliers once, and would have been a bummer to have to go out and get something like that. Things like an iron and ironing board... These are the small details that other places don't bother with, and if you have stayed in other rentals, you know how convenient they are to make your stay go smoothly. You get top-notch treatment and for the price she charges, it's all pretty incredible. Thank you Nancy for providing a cozy nest for us to start our new marriage together in!

Then to go on an mention the location, cleanliness, and amenities....well, now I am blushing! The location of our duplex is great and centrally located. We are set back off the street and the property is very quiet. The long driveway allows for several vehicles, a boat or RV to park. The attached single car garage is especially nice on rainy days. I am glad you found the tool kit to be handy and helpful. How can you have a house without a tool kit? We use it every time we visit.   We had such a wonderful stay renting this place. There was everything we needed at the house for our stay and we couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you Nancy for making our vacation so relaxing and comfortable. It felt like our home away from home. We cannot wait to come back.

  This property was amazing! I am really picky where I lay and stay away from home. This was all home! very comfortable, clean, and updated. I really appreciate the hard work and personal touch the owners have put into this space. In addition to answering all questions,favorites list that was supplied & the checkout list.   I stayed at this side of the duplex for 5 months. It was the first time that Nancy and Steve rented long term and I am sooo glad they did! This place is a true gem in the ruff!! Nancy has the place stocked with everything you need, high quality all around, very comfortable beds including the bunk bed with a full size bottom bunk! The bathrooms are great with a nice finish and the garage is very spacious. There is even a grill down there for afternoon bbq's. I highly recommend either side of the duplex. Nancy and Steve really put alot of TLC into both! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did. Thanks Nancy and Steve!

  Thank you for sharing your Newport home with our family this weekend. This is a beautifully decorated home that was also very comfortable for our whole family to enjoy the beach and then have a nice dinner and spend a few hours playing cards. There were so many special things about this home that I just can't stop raving about this stay. When we visit Newport again I will be renting this again.
