Great place to stay on Elbow Cay

The house, pool and deck were great, we had an excellent time. The house is very close to a grocery (The Food Store - South), a very nice restaurant and bar/grill overlooking Sea of Abaco (The FireFly - South a very short distance), and another great bar and grill overlooking the Atlantic (On Da Beach - North) The nearest beach is about a 5 minute cart ride up a strange little road, but the best beaches are 10 minutes by cart. Best snorkling we found is directly behind the Methodist Church in town... The property is completely secluded and is not near another property, making it very private, yet only minutes to everywhere you want to be. Walking to the beach is not really an option, a golf cart is a must.

We had a wonderful time. Pictures do not do this house justice. It is obviously a second home rather than a rental house. As an owner of a beach house, I am envious of all the marvelous decorative details.

Cozy Corner - A Vacationers Delight!

This home was everything it was advertized to be and more. You walked in and you felt the passion from the owners and caretakers alike in creating a wonderful stay for all. After exploring the island and it's beautiful beaches every day, it was great to jump in the pool and relax "at home" in luxury and privacy. Perfect location - rent a golf cart. Perfect kitchen. Every amenity you could ask for in a great cottage, the place has the feel of a boat in a way....nautical theme, yet clean and sharp and neat. Good kitchen for cooking our freshly caught yellow tail and snapper, all the tools of the trade, as well an enjoyable cutlery and dishes!!! Cute touches out by the pool, great new chaises and tropical greenery and a nice awning for afternoon shade from the hot bahamian sun after a day at the beach! Centrally located on the island for trips to Hopetown as well as to Dorros Cove and Sea Spray and Abaco Inn. Now, new place "Firefly" almost across the street makes it a great location. Excellent place to stay in Elbow Cay!

We have just got back from 2 weeks at this great house. Having grown up in the Bahamas and staying in lots of holiday rentals this was by far the best. For the first week there were 6 adults and a baby sharing the house and it was perfect, although small we didn't feel on top of each other at all. The 2nd week was just my husband and our baby and we had a lovely week by ourselves. The kitchen is extremely well equiped which means you can cook some really good meals - we thought this was very unusual for a rental house. The house is very well located being half way between hope town and tahiti beach. It's very close to the Abaco Inn and On Da Beach as well which was a bonus. The care-takers picked us up from the ferry and got us all settled and our golf buggy was dropped off to the door. We hired a boat which we moored at the public deck. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

After spending a month here I can honestly say that Cozy Corner is an outstanding home and place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the Bahamas. The owners are great people and very responsive to all your needs! The house feels like you are really home, is extremely comfortable and is in a great location. It is a great place to to relax with friends and family to leave the stress of everyday life behind! I would highly recommend Cozy Corner to anyone looking for a place for a special trip or great relaxing getaway! There is something here for everyone in the family to enjoy while visiting this area from beaches, searching for shells , visiting the lighthouse or watching sunsets from Tahiti Beach. We love the outdoors and rented a boat to explore the many surrounding Cays, snorkel, scuba dive and found that there is a lot of outstanding fishing in area whether searching for Bone fish ,Offshore fishing for Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi or Tuna or just bottom fishing on your own in the Sea of Abaco. We had a great time out in the water here. It was a great experience for us and there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy for a perfect and relaxing get away!

We arrived in Hopetown in October of last year and from the time we stepped off our boat we were in Paradise.. This house was everything they say, the kitchen was well stocked and it was so "Cozy". We were there for 14 days and the house is conviently located. It was just a short golf cart ride into Hoptown and a about 10 minutes if that to Tahiti Beach.. A must if you go to Elbow Cay. Especially at sunset! We shared the house with two other couples and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay at "Cozy Corner" and we will definetly be back. Thank you so much for the use of your house.

This was our 7th time to Elbow Cay and hands down this has to be our favorite place that we have ever stayed. Everything top notch. Great location-very peaceful-but close to everything too. We were there two weeks, appreciated having the opportunity to use the washer and dryer once. Not one complaint. Going back in July 2012.

Cozy Corner is a perfect place to stay

My husband and I spent our honeymoon on Elbow Cay and stayed at Cozy Corner. We had an amazing vacation. The house was perfect: spacious, well kept, all the amenities, great kitchen and beautiful deck with grill for cooking and relaxing - we enjoyed Hopetown, the beaches and the entire stay so much! We loved having the pool to come home to after a long day of snorkeling or at the beach, we would definitely recommend it to all of our friends and family and would absolutely go back.

Recommended for:Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Cozy Corner was an exceptional house! It had all the amenities of home & was perfect for our family. We loved the privacy & great location. Our daughter loved the pool (and the pool toys)! We have been to the island several times and are extremely pleased we found our perfect house, we will be back!

What a beautiful home. Perfect for a family getaway. All the amenities including the pool, fire pit, landscaping, to kitchen accessories and towels were there and the homeowner and care takers clearly thought of everything. Truly a beautiful respite. I would recommend this home to anybody looking to stay in Hopetown!

We just returned from a month's vacation at Cozy Corner. It was totally comfortable in every way, and felt very much like our home away from home. The kitchen was so well-appointed that our visiting chefs wanted for nothing! The beds comfy and welcoming at the end of a busy day. We needed high-speed internet, and it was there. A perfect location for us, very central, around the corner from the beach, and very private!

Where we come from, a vacation is an opportunity to get away from it all and re-energize. I am not sure I have found a place that equals Cozy Corner for that. Our group had an incredible stay at Cozy Corner. It is secluded, so there is plenty of privacy, but we were just minutes away from town (and conch fritters) or Tahiti Beach. The house had a ton of room--with all of the comforts of home but none of the hassles. The pool was ideal for reading and relaxing and the grill was perfect for lunch or dinner. We'll be heading back to Cozy Corner at the first opportunity! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Our stay at Cozy Corner was even better than we could have expected. The charm of the house and grounds, and also the amenities so thoughtfully and tastefully prepared for us, provided a very idyllic setting for our get-away. Elbow Cay's beaches, its unique lighthouse, the quaint cottages and narrow streets--and the delicious conch fritters made for a wonderful Bahama experience.
