We are from Maryland, and have several family members who have retired to the Sugarmill Woods community. It is the perfect area for us to vacation - we enjoy the lack of traffic, the slower pace of life, and the safe, quiet neighborhood.

Our home is immaculately kept... The neighbors are so friendly, and everyone waves when you drive down the meticulously maintained streets. It truly is a dream community. The local restaurants are sooo welcoming! Isn't dinner always better when eaten on the water, with a slight breeze blowing? If you think so, too, you will have plenty of options in Homosassa and the adjoining areas!

This is our third vacation spent in this beautifully-decorated, spacious, modern home, and we love it! It has become "our home away from home" with the best memories ever! And more to come! It is so big and open and spacious with beautiful high ceilings and is always kept "like-new" and immaculate! When we walk in, we automatically feel like we are in paradise . . . we see tropical decor of palm trees and can look out onto the screened-in lanai and big, beautiful pool from almost every room in the house! Everything we need is right here . . . open, large, tiled kitchen with kitchen bar and breakfast nook area looking onto the high-vaulted ceiling great room with entertainment center and dining area and screened lanai and pool. Every room is fully-equipped for all our needs, even the pool with floats and fun! The master bedroom and adjoining enormous tiled bath and shower are awesome, with closet space galore, and at the other end of the home are two other big bedrooms with bath that provide ample room for our whole family! It is in a quiet, prestigous commuity, privately located with beautiful landscaping and backed with big, beautiful green woods. The auotmatic two-car garage is a plus for keeping our vehicles out of the weather. We spend much time relaxing in this comfy, beautifuly home by the pool . . . perfectly content! We also venture out to the many, many surrounding attractions, and still after three visits, have not seen them all! We'll be back next year . . . and the year after . . . . Now that we have found this vacation paradise, we'll always be coming back. And to top it all off, the owner is one of the most considerate people we have ever known! "I was lucky enough to spend the entire month of May, 2011 at this spacious, spotless and surprisingly cozy pool home! Being a "detail freak," I loved all the attention to detail I found here....right down to the sets of high quality sheets tied with ribbons!" The neighborhood could not have been better! Close to everything important....yet quiet, peaceful and such a sense of safety! Morning walks alone w/ friendly neighbors waving "hello!"....a huge, screened private pool to relax in...a perfect kitchen! If I "HAVE" to find something to complain about re: this wonderful "get-a-way"...I suppose it might be that high quality Nordic-Trac Treadmill I shared the lanai with...calling my name! Easy fix though! Just pop on your shades while "floating into oblivion" in the fantastic pool...there's always tomorrow! LOL! Seriously! "THANK YOU" Robin, Debbie (& Mary Anne!) for EVERYTHING!! I'd be back in a hearbeat!

Just finished a fantastic week in Homosassa at this lovely house. It was very clean and well organized. The doors from the living room opened up to the pool and the kids were in the pool as much as they could be! The neighborhood is really quiet and we took daily walks in the morning. Trip ended with a swim with the manatees and the kids are still talking about it. We would definitely come back!

Whether it's a short getaway from it all or a getaway from the cold winter months, look no further. My husband and I spent five and half glorious, peaceful, relaxing months in this lovely home. From the moment you walk into this home you will realize this is not your ordinary rental. It is beautifully furnished with pleasing accent pieces and a super stocked kitchen. Sitting out by the pool in the large screened in lanai which backs onto a wooded greenbelt area, has got to be one of life's pleasures. Sugar Mill Woods is a quiet community and the Shoppes at Sugar Mill Woods, only moments from your door, has a Publix, a Walgreens and a Subway. Homosassa and the surrounding area is old Florida at its best...so much to see and discover and so many good and interesting restaurants to try. You won't be disappointed.

Despite the coldest winter on record, my wife and I managed remarkebly well. A lot had to do with this lovely home which made us comfy and cosy.The tranquil pool and the fabulous private greenspace behind the home were a big plus. Do not miss playing Pine Barrens ( World Woods ) and even the delightful short course, all of which are only minutes away. Do whatever you can to get invited to Sugarmill Woods dining room for Thursday's roast beef diner ( out of this world !! ) We will certainly be back and look foward to see and share a couple of cocktails with the wonderful owner !!

What a joy! This vacation home is fabulous and the owner was so great to us! The rooms are beautifully decorated and so open and spacious with beautiful high ceilings. We were so comfortable and felt like we really were on vacation! We could look out and see the gorgeous screened-in pool area from the master bedroom, living room and kitchen. We had luxury and fun all right there! It sits in a beautiful prestigious neighborhood yet is kept private and quiet with the wooded area behind it. And so many attractions are close by for our enjoyment as well. We'll be back!!

This beautiful home is immaculate, comfortable, and well-equipped. The screened in pool is outstanding. The neighborhood is called Sugarmill Woods, a peaceful, quiet natural piece of paradise, with lots of greenspace. We have rented many homes in the Tampa area, and this one is the best. Highly recommended!
