Our home is a beach front property on West Bay Beach, Roatan, which was voted "Top 5 Most Beautiful Beaches" and "Top 20 Places to Retire" and "Top 10 Dive Spots" in the World. Roatan was recently featured by The New York Times as “53 Places to Go in 2008”, as well as in the Wall Street Journal as a “Hot Spot for 2008”.
This is two level home. You may rent the entire home or by individual level. The upstairs unit accommodates 7 people. The downstairs unit accommodates 4 people. Upstairs level has two full bathrooms and a separate kitchen. The downstairs level also has two full bathrooms and a separate kitchen. A cleaning lady can be available for additional fee per day.
There are lots of beach chairs and floaties to lounge in the sea. Please email us for rates and questions.

The view from Emerald Beach House is breathtaking and calming. The deck is one of the best places to enjoy the sunset and the breezes of the Caribbean. Windows along the home make this a very bright and open villa.
This is the place where you don't have to do a thing, just take a siesta in one of our hamacas or snorkel/scuba dive and experience one of the top places to dive in the world. Come and enjoy our Emerald Beach Home! We have :)

We enjoyed the rental house for a week over new years with the best location, comfortable and spacious house. First of all Location Location Location. Couldnt have asked for a better spot right on the beach on one of the top 10 beaches in the world! Its close to the restaurants, hotels, etc. but on the quieter side of the beach. Second of all the house was set up as a second home with all the comforts and things needed. Third of all we hired the extra staff to cook lobster, shrip ceviche and fried fish so we enjoyed both the gourmet restaurants within walking distance on the beach and the delicious home cooking! Highly recomended for all travelers! We went as a family with a small baby. However, some of us could head out to the restaurants and bars at walking distnce...Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

First time using VRBO and relieved on its success. Owners communication was excellent and very helpful arranging all kinks of fun. Had taxi's ready at the airport for our group of 3 couples. Went to the grocery store and met us at the house. They were staying downstairs the week and enjoyed their company. The house was just like the photos and clean. Everything you needed was there including a house alarm for us to feel our items were safe. The beach clean, long, white and peaceful. We scuba dived only 4 doors down all week long with Mayan Divers. Never had to get into a taxi to eat. Plenty of restaurants along the beach or jump into the water taxi and go to West End and find some more restaurants. My favorite was Bite on the Beach just a 3 min walk. Feed moray eels and barracuda while waiting for your meal. Mauitza helped the girls out with the places to shop. Arthur pointed out the snorkeling spots, offered to take us pattleboat fishing, and was there on the beach to just have some conversation with. Lots of the neighbors were also around to chat and offer insight to places and things to do. It is a safe area to walk back up to the main road and over to the other side of the island. On the last night Arther helped me suprise the group by having a campfire on the beach. Jonny the landscaper and handyman dug a large pit and gathered the firewood and it was blazing when we returned from the restaurant. Had lots of people stop, sit and chat. Could not have been a better ending to a fantasic week. We will be glad to return. Thank you for offering your home to us. The house is disappointing at best. One of the bathrooms has a mold odor and another shower was not clean when we arrived. The house is very hot and it does not cool down with the "ocean breeze" as suggested. The bedroom air conditioning units are old and weak.
