The Spa on Port Royal Sound is a beachside resort with all the amenities vacationers expect. When you join us, you'll have your own beautiful, quiet and secluded beach and observation pier. We have two outdoor pools (each with restrooms), one indoor pool, a sauna, whirlpool and fitness room. There are 3 private tennis courts (that meet USTA standards), a basketball court and a playground for the kids. Use our charcoal grills and enjoy a picnic while you watch dolphins and marsh birds in Port Royal Sound.
Our Villa comes equipped with all the tools you'll need for a fun-filled and relaxing vacation. Our kitchen is just the place to prepare a delicious dinner at "home". Adjoining the kitchen is our laundry room with updated washer and dryer for your use. (no need to pack too much!) The living room is comfy for those nights you feel the need to relax indoors. We provide free Cable TV, VCR, DVD, movies, books, magazines and games to help keep you and your family occupied. Or maybe you'd rather relax on our screened in deck. There you can listen to the peaceful sound of the fountain in the lagoon, the lapping of the small waves beating upon the shore or the noise-makers...the creatures of the night!
When it is time to "call it a night", you'll have two bedrooms and two full baths at your disposal. The Master bedroom comes with a comfy King-size bed with loads of room to stretch out in and its own private full bath. The guest room has two twins (can be converted to King at your request) and its own private full bath as well! The sleeper sofa in the living room provides you with the extra sleeping room you may need. We supply all the sheets and towels.
Our Villa is located within steps to the pool and beach. Beach, did anyone mention the beach? The Spa on Port Royal Sound has a unique beach that is calmer than the crashing waves at other beaches on the island. Perfect for small children to play in while they collect shells and build castles in the sand. Great for peaceful morning or evening strolls, a brisk jog, or even a bike ride with none of the hustle and bustle of crowds. The crashing waves are just a short drive from your vacation villa should you desire. We provide beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler and beach toys for your use.
Golf Anyone? We are just minutes away from numerous golf courses that players of all ability can enjoy. There are 20 public courses nearby with 13 on the Island.
Nature lovers...bring your camera. The Spa is located between public parkland and a wildlife preserve on the northern end of Hilton Head Island. This habitat is perfect for a variety of shore birds and wild life of all sizes. Watch dolphins play in the sound or dig for clams at low tide. Right next to us is the Fish Haul Creek Park, a bird sanctuary. Here you'll be able to walk a trail through live oaks and go out on the boardwalk to the observation deck over the marsh.
Biking is very popular on Hilton Head Island. The Spa directly connects to the miles of tree lined bike paths that cover most of the Island. May we suggest that you leave your fancy bikes at home and take advantage of the many bike rentals available on the island. These bikes are designed to be tough and are perfect for the mostly flat bike paths or for a ride on the beach.
Hilton Head offers the best of off-shore fishing and crabbing. The Island offers a variety of water sports including kayaking, sailing, parasailing and jet skiing.
Hilton Head Island boasts many fine restaurants and wonderful discount shopping.
