Bright beautiful ocean view located 1 block from Waikiki Beach. Updated this Larger Corner ocean view condo is located on the 12th floor. Corner units are larger than a standard Waikiki Banyan unit with the kitchen in a separate room from the living area.The Waikiki Banyan is a family friendly building hosting many facilities such as pool, hot tub, tennis court, BBQ area, basketball court, kids playground, golf putting green, and a small store. The condo has a queen size bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. A twin air bed is available upon request. Clean tiled floors. The condo has air conditioning, new appliances, TV and all of the towels and linen you will need for your stay. If you are renting a car we have free parking available.24 hour security on site. Laundry facilities on every floor. Free Wi Fi internet.We accept credit cards and Pay Pal.
Shopping: There are hundreds of stores within walking distance of the Waikiki Banyan from high end stores to the 6 t-shirts for $20 stores. The Ala Moana Shopping Center is a 15 minute bus ride from the bus stop located 1 block from the Waikiki Banyan. Costco is a 30 minute bus ride. The most economical place to purchase groceries is the Safeway supermarket which is a 20 minute walk from the condo.

My husband and I stayed at this unit for 6 nights at the end of April. The unit was exactly as described, very clean and very well supplied with all you need to enjoy yourself. The bed is very comfortable and the unit itself is extremely spacious. The only small negative we experienced was the noise from the street at nightime - but this is Waikiki and there is always plenty of things going on. Thanks to the owners for making sure everything is suitable.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Wife and I were returning to Hawaii for the fourth time and decided to try renting a condo (previous stays were at the Outrigger Waikiki). While surfing the net I came across this property so I contacted the owner. He was very pleasant and was very accommodating to answer all of my questions. When we arrived on Friday we were pleasantly surprised!! This unit was AWESOME!!! Great location with a wonderful view of the ocean. Nearby was a Safeway which was very convenient for us to stock up on the basics to get us thru the week. We actually picked up some steaks while going to the Kualoa Ranch on a day trip and grilled them that evening on the electric grills provided by the condo. It is only a short walk to the beach making it easy to carry all of the stuff you need to enjoy the day at the shore. The condo's pool is on the 6th floor and is very nice. One of the other perks was the free parking for the week! I would definitely refer this location to others interested in going to Waikiki and would love to return again in the future assuming that it was available. Excellent stay, very clean. We had stayed at the Banyon before but it was always on the 34 or 35th floor ,was nice to be on the 12th. Owner very prompt at returning emails . Will definately stay there again,Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My family just returned home after staying 10 days in the Waikiki Banyan. I could not be more happy with the condo. We were in walking distance to everything (International Market, Waikiki Aquarium, beach, etc.), but we also had a rental car and the free parking was a very nice perk. We parked at another hotel while we did a submarine tour, we were charged $24 for the 3.5 hours we were there, so free parking is a very nice touch. The unit included beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards, and beach chairs. The pictures here do not do the unit justice. Look right off of the balcony and there's the beach, look to the left and there's mountains, look straight and there's the city. The condo is large enough to comfortably sleep 5 people. We had me, my husband, his mom, her friend, and my 3 year old son--we did not feel crowded at all and the bedroom door does close off from the living room. If I ever return to Waikiki, I would not consider staying anywhere else. This condo is a great place to stay and I can see why people return.Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I and our 3 yr old daughter enjoyed staying in this unit. We stayed at the Waikiki Banyan last year as well but this unit far exceeded the other one. It was much cleaner and updated. It's exactly as you see it online. The only minor thing is that the view of the ocean is more of a sideways view from the patio. If you're sitting on the patio, you actually face the building across the street but you can easily see the ocean if you turn your head left. The kitchen had everything we needed - kettle, pots, cutlery, knives and even had bowls and cups appropriate for our child. They also provide beach towels, boogie boards, and sand toys which was great for our daughter. The location is also very convenient because the laundry room is right outside and so is the garbage room so you don't have to walk very far. The great thing about the Waikiki Banyan if you have a child is the 6th floor recreation deck with a playground and swimming pool/hot tub. Every morning we'd bring our daughter to the playground before heading to the beach. The owner of this unit was also very quick to reply to any questions I had. We were all very sad to leave.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

During Spring Break, we enjoyed 9 wonderful days at the Waikiki Banyan. We found the condo to be very clean and comfortable with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. It's close to a safe beach for kids- they didn't want to leave the water! at the beach or in the pool. We walked to the zoo for a wonderful 4 hour visit (again the kids didn't want to leave). The water view was beautiful, and the photos we were shown depicted acurately everything we experienced. The single air bed worked very well for our grandson to sleep on. We had a rental car and found the free underground parking to be very convenient. We shopped at the Safeway store, 10 minute drive away, and made most of our own meals. We couldn't have wanted anything more, and it was a dream come true to be able to share it with our grandchildren. Thank you Wayne for renting to us and answering our questions beforehand.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This condo is exactly as described. It is spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It is in a great location, one block away from the beach. We stayed here for 6 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. We had a wonderful stay at Wayne and Joanne's unit in the Waikiki Banyan. Larger than other units in the complex, this particular unit has a seperate kitchen and spacious living/dining area. It is a corner unit, with views of the ocean from the bedroom and balcony. Well stocked and immacutely clean, we would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends. Wayne was prompt with his service and everything was clearly explained. Thank you Wayne for such a wonderful and inviting holiday accommodation!Recommended for: Families with young children.

My family and I stayed here for a week in July. Everything was as stated in the reviews and on this web page. We had a great stay and felt at home as soon as we arrived. The condo had everything we needed and more. Parking and access to the condo was easy. The location is great not to much foot traffic and yet close enougth to all of the action. The beach is so close and the view from the lanai is Awesome! When we come back we definately plan to stay here. I would recommend this condo to anyone who plans on visiting the Waikiki area. Wayne was very responsive to all of my inquiries and all of the instruction were clear and we had no problems gaining access.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
