Our four bedroom, three bath, Lake Tahoe Vacation Rental is located off of Pioneer Trail/Washoan Drive in South Lake Tahoe. Our cabin is CLEAN with upgraded furnishings and amenities. Our Vacation Rental Home sleeps 8 adults comfortable. We allow up to 10 people if your group includes children. Casa Tahoe's location, Just 5 miles from Heavenly Ski Resort, Stateline Casinos, and Lake Tahoe, makes it a perfect all-season getaway for couples or your entire family. And don't forget about the family dog!
We truely are a family and pet friendly property. We have a 6 year old and a chocolate lab, so the cabin has been stocked for their enjoyment and our ease of staying there ourselves. We have a high chair, portable crib (with linens), baby bath, toddler blow up bed, books, movies, and toys and games appropriate for ages infant through teenager.
Your well behaved pet is welcome. Our backyard is fully fenced and safe for your pet. Your dog will appreciate the dog bed and treats we always keep at the cabin. We often take our dog and 6 year old for a walk down to the Truckee River or on the Forest Service Trail starting just a block from the cabin.
During the winter season, major ski resorts like Heavenly, Sierra, Kirkwood, Homewood, Alpine, and Squaw are easily accessible from our South Lake Tahoe Cabin Rental. Take advantage of the beginning ski classes for your kids or daycare available at many of the local ski resorts while you enjoy the slopes. There are also nearby locations for cross-country sking and snowshoeing. Some of our neighbors start their cross-country sking excursions in the meadow behind our cabin.
Your kids will enjoy sledding at the snow parks, or we have a slope in the meadow behind our back fence which will sufficiently entertain them. There are (plastic) sleds in the garage, so it is hassle free to just walk around the house and send them racing down the small hill.
Amenities like our woodburning stove as well as a private, hot tub on the back deck outside the master bedroom add to the ambiance of this Lake Tahoe Cabin Rental. And yes, you can use it in the winter!
Our back deck affords a stunning view of the mountains, or just stay in the living room as the full length windows provide you with a gorgeous view.
If gambling is your game, the casinos are located at Stateline, just a few miles up Pionner Trail, or enjoy the many extra amenities we provide for your entertainment at the cabin such as cable TV's, games, books and an extensive video and DVD library. We also have high speed internet. Bring your own laptop for ethernet hookup or wireless. (SORRY COMPUTER NOT PROVIDED).
We've thought of everything you will need to make your stay at Casa Tahoe comfortable and easy. We provide many extra amenities such as quality linens and a kitchen equipped with top quality cookware and appliances. You will find upon arrival spices, condiments, staples, coffee, tea, and breakfast items. The cabin is tastefully decorated with new furniture and bedding and our downstairs bedroom/recreation room provides a special get-away for the teens.
Please note our South Lake Tahoe Cabin is located in a peaceful, wooded neighborhood. Sound carries far on cold winter nights, so we ask our guests to maintain quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. This includes no use of the hot tub between these hours. We also strictly enforce the maximum occupancy noted above to comply with County Regulations.

We require a $200.00 security/damage deposit on the rental which is cashed and held until after you check-out and our cleaning staff has confirmed there is no damage or loss to the property. The $200 is SEPERATE from the rates quoted above. The full rent/cleaning fee/tax payment is due 30 days before check-in.
As an alternative, you can buy renter insurance for the non-refundable cost of $39.00. Your purchase of renter insurance will confirm your reservation. Full payment of rent, cleaning fee, pet fee (if applicable) and tax would be due 30 days before check-in.

Why the Owner Chose Pioneer Trail
We love the South Lake Tahoe area. We enjoy the cabin year round, snowboarding in the winter, the lake in the summer, and the quiet months of October and May are acutally my favorite! There are always festivals to attend, or we enjoy just spending time with family, friends, and our dogs.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We have lots of space for family and friends. We love entertaining. I have equipped the cabin with the cookware I need for making gourmet meals for a crowd. I have also focused on equipping the cabin with entertainment (books, games, videos) that all ages would enjoy. We are on a quiet, residential street, with great views of the mountains. It's fun and relaxing at the same time. From our location off of Pioneer Trail, you can get to the cabin easily from Sacramento or the Bay Area without having to drive through town. At the same time, it does not take long to get to Heavenly, the casinos, the Lake, shopping or restaurants from our cabin via Pionner Trail.
From Casa Tahoe it is an easy trip to Heavenly Ski Resort. Just take Pioneer Trail to Ski Run Blvd. and take a right. Heavenly is approximately 6 miles from the cabin.

We purchased Casa Tahoe in 2003, however, we have been Vacation Rental Owners in South Lake Tahoe for 10 years. We are a small family, (just one child) but visit our cabin at least once a month, and invite friends and family to join us.

Stayed there with the family this winter for a week. I can say enough good things about the house Great view, great location the best kitchen equipment, very spacious. We will certainly be back this year Thanks for letting us stay in your house Frank and Linda!

This is a vey nice and well equipped cabin to stay in. Plus there is a fenced yard for doggies. The kitchen is very user friendly. It is a very spacious cabin and it is perfect for just 2 or a larger group. The big screen tv in the living room is a plus. We enjoyed the tv since we stayed indoors abit due to snow. The cabin was nice and clean when we arrived. I highly recommend this cabin.

The place was amazing and the owners are so accommodating and patient. It's the perfect vacation house and we had such a great time. It had a nice view of the meadows and the mountains. The rooms are very clean, the kitchen complete and the place is very well maintained. The photos do not accurately reflect the rental's appearance because the ACTUAL appearance of the house is much much more beautiful than the photos. We plan to rent the place again sometime in the summer. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. Even the dogs had so much fun. We surely made a lot of memories we will always remember.

We loved our stay at this Tahoe house. The kitchen and baths were clean and well equipped, the furnishings were comfortable and the view of the mountains spectacular. The location was convenient to the casinos and the lake. We look forward to staying at this rental again.

We have stayed here a few times now (most recently Feb.12-19,2005). We have already booked again for this coming February. We return for the great amenities provided at the house, as well as the fact that dogs are allowed. The yard is fenced and provides a great play area for them. There is access to Forest Service land a block away. We have spent quite a bit of time cross country skiing and snowshoeing out there. The home is beautiful, and has a great view of the mountains. The gourmet cook that joined us this past trip raved about how well the kitchen was stocked with everything she needed to cook a great meal. The furnishings are nice and make one feel at home. The downstairs area would be great for kids, although we use it for a couple of somewhat anti-social friends! The movies and games that are provided are an added bonus. We hope to continue renting this house for years to come!

Stayed for two weeks over the fourth (6-25 to 7-9-05) and had a fabulous time. Have stayed in several rentals, never one so well equipped with very quality ammenities. Having the added staples and condiments made eating in so convenient we only ate out once!! My friends from Virginia Beach loved it so much they are already planning for our return next summer. My dog loved the hiking trails and the river!!!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay in your wonderfully appointed cabin! What more could our family have hoped for...sledding right ouside the door, a great fenced yard for the dogs (who partied for their first time ever in the snow!!) and a great hot tub to work off the chill of the day's events.
