We so enjoyed staying at Casa Tahoe. In a nice quiet neighborhood, dog friendly, yet close to all the amenities of South Lake Tahoe. The home was exactly as described, with all the comforts of home. Highly recommend Frank & Linda's home - we will absolutely stay there again!!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

We love Lake Tahoe and we love to bring our dogs. This property was the best the dogs loved the big fenced backyard. We loved the house we know the general area well so no problems getting lost. We'll be back. Next time we'll bring the grandkids. Thanks again

Great Cabin And Close To Everything

This is a vey nice and well equipped cabin to stay in. Plus there is a fenced yard for doggies. The kitchen is very user friendly. It is a very spacious cabin and it is perfect for just 2 or a larger group. The big screen tv in the living room is a plus. We enjoyed the tv since we stayed indoors abit due to snow. The cabin was nice and clean when we arrived. I highly recommend this cabin.

Stayed there with the family this winter for a week. I can say enough good things about the house Great view, great location the best kitchen equipment, very spacious. We will certainly be back this year Thanks for letting us stay in your house Frank and Linda!

Amazing! Perfect Winter Wonderland Vacation

The place was amazing and the owners are so accommodating and patient. It's the perfect vacation house and we had such a great time. It had a nice view of the meadows and the mountains. The rooms are very clean, the kitchen complete and the place is very well maintained. The photos do not accurately reflect the rental's appearance because the ACTUAL appearance of the house is much much more beautiful than the photos. We plan to rent the place again sometime in the summer. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. Even the dogs had so much fun. We surely made a lot of memories we will always remember.

We loved our stay at this Tahoe house. The kitchen and baths were clean and well equipped, the furnishings were comfortable and the view of the mountains spectacular. The location was convenient to the casinos and the lake. We look forward to staying at this rental again.

We have stayed here a few times now (most recently Feb.12-19,2005). We have already booked again for this coming February. We return for the great amenities provided at the house, as well as the fact that dogs are allowed. The yard is fenced and provides a great play area for them. There is access to Forest Service land a block away. We have spent quite a bit of time cross country skiing and snowshoeing out there. The home is beautiful, and has a great view of the mountains. The gourmet cook that joined us this past trip raved about how well the kitchen was stocked with everything she needed to cook a great meal. The furnishings are nice and make one feel at home. The downstairs area would be great for kids, although we use it for a couple of somewhat anti-social friends! The movies and games that are provided are an added bonus. We hope to continue renting this house for years to come!

Stayed for two weeks over the fourth (6-25 to 7-9-05) and had a fabulous time. Have stayed in several rentals, never one so well equipped with very quality ammenities. Having the added staples and condiments made eating in so convenient we only ate out once!! My friends from Virginia Beach loved it so much they are already planning for our return next summer. My dog loved the hiking trails and the river!!!

Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay in your wonderfully appointed cabin! What more could our family have hoped for...sledding right ouside the door, a great fenced yard for the dogs (who partied for their first time ever in the snow!!) and a great hot tub to work off the chill of the day's events. Your outstanding home has provided us with memories for a lifetime! Thanks!

Had a fantastic stay. Sat down for Thanksgiving dinner and it started to snow. Great timing! The house was perfect for all our needs. Had to contact the owner a few times and he was available and happy to help. We have already suggested the property to our friends and are thinking of another trip. The only negative thing I can say is, the casinos took too much of my money! Maybe you can get cable on the downstairs t.v... Thank you, The Dunstans

Alpine View is the most well-appointed guest home we have ever rented in the area. Wonderful hot tub, comfortable beds, great views and everything you need for gourmet cooking. Even though pets are welcome, there was no evidence any had been through (except for the large stash of doggie treats). And the movie collection is fantastic!

We've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and are pretty picky. This house is surprisingly well-equipped and has new, upscale furnishings. The floorplan is wonderful, with the MB having a great view and deck with hot tub. The living/dining/kitchen are very open and airy. The downstairs rec/bedroom is perfect for teenagers and other antisocial guests:) The steep, back hill provided as much fun as Heavenly. Having the use of the garage was a real treat and quite unusual in rentals.

WHAT DID YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE PROPERTY? The view was magnificent, as well as proximity to the trails. The yard was great, our ciy dog was in heaven. Perfect size, cozy yet not cramped at all. Loved the selection of movies & games. Have rented nice places before that are great, but when you go to fix a meal, you fund one sharp knife and one spatul. I was stunned and thrilled to find a full euipped kitchen!! That (as a cook) just made my vacation.
