Antigua is the number one town visited in Central America. It abounds with language schools, shops, restaurants, ruins, cathedrals, shops and more. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, Antigua is the perfect place to view volcanoes, explore a colonial town, and make trips to other famous areas of Guatemala such as Lake Atitlan, Chichicastenango, the Pacific Coast, and Tikal. Known as the "land of the eternal spring", Antigua is blessed with an average year round temperature of 75 degrees.
This beautiful new home is located in a gated community within the historic area of Antigua with 24 hour security. Fully equipped with all amenities, it includes internet access on both floors and cable TV. One can easily walk to the Central Plaza, market, and all other points of interest (cobblestone streets - wear comfortable shoes!). From the large rooftop terrace, see three volcanoes - Agua, Acatenango, and active Fuego.
The house has four full bathrooms and three large bedrooms with a king, queen and two double beds. There is also a study with a futon. A courtyard with fountain and sitting areas is located off the first floor. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the house is cleaned from 8:00 - 5:00 (she will do your laundry) and on Friday mornings, a gardener takes care of the grass and the many flowering plants.
No pets or smoking allowed, maximum 6 people, well behaved children welcome (there is original art and expensive furnishings). |
