Wonderful Family Vacation With Our New Marine

We love HHI and always look for a chance to come visit. This time, we went to pick up our youngest son from his graduation of USMC Bootcamp at Parris Island, SC. The location, less than an hour away from Parris Island worked out perfectly. This house was roomy, comfortable and had all the amenities one could ask for. My wife and I and two of our closest friends and their new baby stayed at the house most of the week. The layout of the house worked out very well. We stayed upstairs and had three bedrooms a living room and a kitchen, They stayed downstairs where there were two bedrooms and an additional kitchen. There is one extra room with two beds (The Treehouse) we never used but would be great for two young teens. My older son and his girlfriend arrived Wednesday with another family friend. My sister arrived on Thursday and our new Marine arrived Friday. The house had plenty of room for all of us. The pool was very comfortable and had pool floats and deck chairs. The hottub was incredibly nice! We had two grills and used both. Everything we needed was in this house except a meat thermometer so we bought a new one and left it there for future guests to use. There were too many televisions to count but the outside amenities overruled most daytime and evening activities. The grounds were landscaped luciously and there are at least 10 beautiful palm trees throught the gardens. We truly felt the Key West flair! The ocean was a one minute walk away and the many decks on the house offered great views of it. This house is so close to the ocean and the uncrowded beach that you can hear the sound of the waves anytime you are outside. The location is also very close and convenient to three grocery stores, restaurants and giftshops. We ate out one time (Nicks Steak and Seafood) for lunch. Although the food was okay it was a little pricey; however, the rat that ran across the dining room floor in front of us sealed the deal. We won't be back! The IHOP we went to with our Marine the first day was great and the service was spectacular. I highly recommend a visit. Thee rest of the time we cooked at the house and everything was great. Suzanne was great to work with and stayed in constant contact with me. She was very accommodating and we will definitely be contacting her again for future trips to HHI. We highly recommend this house for families, especially. Thank you, Suzanne forhelping to create our fond family summer memories!

Our family of 12 stayed in this lovely home last October for a late "summer" getaway. It could not have been more perfect. All the kids loved the pool and the close proximity to the beach. Perfect location!! A beautiful, roomy and well furnished house. We have stayed at many other vacation properties in the past and this is the best one yet! The owner was very nice and easy to work with. I really hope we can return sometime for another stay.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

A great value and comfortable accomodations while at Hilton Head.

I'm a value seeker. We don't like cheap, nor want to foolishly pay for extravagance. This home had great value which added much to our families' vacation experience. We had a beautiful ocean view from our deck without the ocean front price. Our children loved the privacy of the spacious downstairs living area. The furnishings were very comfortable and functional, and the kitchen had all the equipment to make an enjoyable family meal. Hope to spend more vacation time at 20 Jacana - Hilton Head's best value!

We stayed at this beautiful home in March before my son was deployed to Iraq. The house was even more beautiful than it was in the pictures and the owners provided us with everything we could possibly have wanted or needed. An absolutely beautiful place to walk the beach and relax. Thank you again to the owners for everything!

Absolutely the most wonderful vacation we've ever had!!! Home was luxurious but more importantly was large enough to accomodate our entire immediate family. (First time we had all been together in 7 years.) Amenities were top-notch, inside and out. Our family is begging us to return again!!Owners very helpful. Make certain everything is PERFECT!!!!!

This is a beautiful house with great ammenities. I would recommend it to anyone. It has a great view and is very, very close to the beach and convenient to some great restaurants (try Steamers) and neat shops.

We have been coming to Hilton Head every year for over 30 years. We've always liked the North Forest Beach area the best and your house tops our list! We have all ages and there was an appropriate spot for all - the treehouse was a great 'private' spot for the older grandchildren. This house was perfect for all.
