We rented this unit in for a week in July, 2011. This was our first experience renting a condo, having stayed at the Grand Wailea on previous trips. We were so impressed with this property. The views are incredible from the lanai, living area, kitchen and master bedroom! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, just as described in the listing. The unit was very clean, plenty of towels and extra linens, a washer and dryer which we used and worked perfectly,music, books, tv, even a computer in the bedroom. The central air was so comfortable, yet you can open the doors and let the Maui breezes in anytime. There were beach towels and necessities for a day at the beach, and there is parking at the public beach parking lot near the Grand Wailea. We walked to The Shops at Wailea several times, enjoying the scenery and birds on the way. The grounds surrounding Wailea Ekolu complex, including the golf course, are beautiful and well maintained. The owner was at the unit when we arrived, was very friendly and helpful, and left contact numbers should any issue arise. We loved to explore the island during our stay, but always looked forward to coming home to Wailea at the end of each day. We were so impressed with our stay that we are returning to this unit on our next trip!

Just got back from a wonderful week on Maui, and can't say enough about this property. Very clean and well appointed, and the view really is tremendous! The condo was very spacious, even with my two daughters along! The local beaches are top-notch and uncrowded, and the snorkling is amazing. What I think sets this location apart from lots of others is how quiet it is. We rarely heard noise from any of the neighbors, only the songbirds. There is no way I would stay anywhere close to Kaanapali with such a serene option as this. They say Maui is the best, and I would add that Wailea, and specifically Wailea Ekolu, is the best of Maui! We have had extended stays on both sides of Maui. This condo has the best view we've seen. Quiet (unlike Kihei-we didn't hear chickens, crowing, or cars). Easily watched whales all morning long with binoculars. All sorts of extras inside the condo-books, binoculars, sunscreen, music, etc. 5-10 min walk down to the shops at Wailea. A 1 minute commute to Ulua beach (great for snorkeling, family relaxing, and a wonderful paved walking path). Owners easily reached. Very large condo-we had two adults and three small children and there was plenty of room. Would love to stay here in the future.

I stayed here for one week with my wife and 2 kids and we loved it. The condo was very comfortable and quiet and had a nice view. the drive to the beach was quick and easy and my kids liked the swimming pool close by. The kitchen was well appointed and we ate all our meals at the condo. We will come back again!

Excellent location. Condo was very clean and had every thing we needed for a fabulous get away. 90% of our time was spent on the wonderful deck with the absolutely gorgeous view. Highly recommend this property for vacationing. Owners were very gracious and helpful.

Fabulous 2 bedroom/2 bath unit with expansive ocean view and golf course view. The unit is very well maintained and is nicely furnished. Plenty of room to spread out. All the amenties of home (and then some). The unit is centrally located in southern Maui. Perfect for both golfers and beach outings. Great restaurants and shopping near by. Complex has all the amenities you could want. Can't wait to return. Owners are wonderful.

We (4 adults and 2 small children) stayed at Ekolu 910 from Dec 15, 08 to Jan 13, 09. We have rented through VRBO many times, and this condo is among the nicer ones we have seen.The location on the hill above the Wailea hotels offers a stunning view of ocean, other islands and west Maui. In Dec and January, the Humpback whales are almost in constant view. The location is close to uncrowded beaches, shopping and golf. It is only 30 minutes to Kailua and the airport.The condo is tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds. Two spacious lanais overlook the golf course and the ocean beyond. The kitchen is well equipped – we cooked almost all our food. There is good audio-visual equipment with a flat screen HDTV, DVD player and Ipod hookup in the living, and smaller TVs in each bedroom as well as a computer with high speed internet. There was no telephone but that may have changed.The owners were most responsive to our needs, available, very helpful, and extremely personable.We highly recommend this unit if you are looking for a wonderful stay on Maui.

Stayed in 9/08, and have been to Ekolu many times, but this is the most luxurious and comfortable unit, with the best view, we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The owners are equally a delight to rent from. It is upstairs, but worth the short climb.
