The "Crane" is available for rental year round. This lovely studio condo is located in the community of Fairfield Harbour, New Bern, NC on the Neuse River. Beautiful Northwest Creek Marina is just 100 feet from your doorstep. Condo features a queen size bed in the sleeping area (all linens, blankets, and pillows are furnished). A futon sofa in the living area can be used to accommodate an additional 2 persons. Although a studio, this condo features a full kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, drop-leaf dining table, and all cooking utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and glasses. The bathroom has a tub and shower combo and comes furnished with all towels.
Well-lit, off street parking is available in front of the building. Boats and trailers may be parked at the far end of the lot next to the marina. The boat ramp, Recreation Center, Dining, and Convenience Store are just a 2 minute walk away.
Historic downtown New Bern, offering a variety of restaurants, shops, and historic sites is just 10 minutes away. A drive to the famous Outer Banks is great for a day at the beach. Be sure to visit the state aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores!
Activities are endless here in the Harbour. For the swimmer, the pool offers lap swimming twice daily at 7:30am and 2:00pm (outdoor lane is 20m). For less intense exercise, try one of the aqua aerobics classes after lap time. Cycling routes abound from 8.6 miles to over 100; beach cruisers are available for rental for a lazy afternoon ride through the Harbour. A flat terrain makes for easy PR times for the walker/runner. A small gym at the Recreation Center offers 2 treadmills, 2 stationary bikes, 2 elipticals, and a universal gym. Stretch and Tone, Tai Chi, and Step Aerobics, are also available.
