Optimally-sized for 6 adults and up to four young children, this spectacular four bedroom three bath ranch home was renovated inside and out in 2008. We recently added a full solar electricity system to the house so it generates all its energy needs. Brand new appliances, furniture, landscaping and every conceivable amenity you could want is available in this home away from home. The house is up a small hill from the ocean and less than two miles from town. Located in Hither Woods just seconds from Gurney's world-class spa (open to all), the home features vaulted ceilings and a two sided fireplace in the living room. The kitchen has new granite countertops, stainless steel top-of-the-line Kitchenaid appliances, and seating for four at the counter. The separate indoor dining room has seating for 10.
The Master Suite has a king 4-post bed, walk-in closet, an HD flat panel TV and walk-out deck. There are two bedrooms in a separate suite with queen beds, a shared full bath and a walk out deck. Outside, the heated gunnite pool is surrounded by grass and meticulously maintained plants, shrubs, vines and trees. There is an outdoor shower on a large deck with seating for 8 next to a 6-burner SS grill, all overlooking a small slice of "beach-in-the-backyard" complete with real sand, beach chairs and a hammock for the kids. No detail has been overlooked in this lovely home.

After renting beach houses in Ditch Plains and staying at The Crow's Nest for years, we decided couldn't resist this house. The location is perfect - close to town but it feels like a million miles away.

Quiet. You can hear the deer walking through the woods. When the surf is up, you can hear the ocean. You have neighbors, but you'd never know it.
