Large four bedroom home on secluded Little Spider Lake just north of Minocqua in Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin.
Main level offers laundry room/bathroom, large bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 twin bunk beds which is perfect bedroom for the kids and has its own TV with satellite and DVD player. Fully furnished kitchen which opens up to dining and great room with floor to ceiling gas fire place.

Second story includes a bathroom and 2 bedrooms--both with comfortable king beds. This level has a balcony that overlooks the living room below and has a full size sofa sleeper as well.
Lower level has a large bedroom with queen bed and a double bed, an eight-person Finnish sauna, and a private room with jetted Jacuzzi tub.
Large wrap around deck with Weber charcoal grill - table and chairs. Deck has gated entry doors for small children and pets to roam as well.
Enjoy your own private dock and fire pit right next to the sand beach. Row boat, canoe, life jackets and paddle boat are also provided.
Little Spider Lake is a 265 acre lake that is home to Musky, large mouth bass, northern pike, perch, walleye, crappy and other pan fish. Other wildlife include Bald Eagle, Blue Heron, Mallard ducks, Loons, fox, deer, but seldom seen bears or wolves..

Why the Owner Chose Minocqua
In 2009 Ken and Linda acquired her father's (Jim) home and decided to add this spectacular home to its rental business--Lake Rest Cabins. With each unit having a totally different decor, it made sense to make this available to those who needed more space and wanted more amenities. Jim built this home as his primary residence with his wife Fran in 1982. The magnificent fire place that is the centerpiece of the great room includes bricks from the former Minocqua Community Building which burned down in the 1970's.
As you walk the grounds of the current remaining 10 acres, note the tall pines that were not taken during the logging days of the early 20th century. We work to keep the solitude that is craved at its best while trying to add enough comforts to give every family a memory to be cherished.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Many extra amenities such as coffee, coffee filters, hand soap, bath soap, dish and dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, garbage bags. Each room includes a down comforter as well as ceiling fans.
This trail is roughly 4 miles from Lake Rest Cabins and goes 10 miles to Boulder Junction north or 10 miles to Sayner east.
This supperclub is best known for the recent movie setting of "Public Enemy's" depicting the shoot out between the Fed's and John Dillinger.

A great place & wonderful time. We really enjoyed the house, with all of its space and amenities, the sauna, the fire pit, the deck, and the privacy of Jim's Hideaway. It is a nice size lake. Linda and Ken were great too.

What a fantastic property! Absolutely beautiful and filled with many extra amenities. A lot of nice touches. Fishing was incredible. Caught limit in first two days. Loved hearing the loons on the lake and watching the eagles soar in the sky and dive for fish. We will definitely be back to stay at this paradise. P.S. The best place to sleep is in the sunroom!

What a fantastic place. Extremely clean and well maintained. So many extra amenities included in the rental. The lake was perfect--crystal clear and quiet. Swimming was great. Our family had the time of their life! The kids can't wait to go back next year. We will definately be back. The hosts made us feel like family.
