All the other reviewers are correct. This place is simply fabulous -- and not in the glamorous, fancy part of Colorado. It has all the beauty you'd ever want without the intrusion of the "fast" life. This is rural, bountiful, gorgeous Colorado. May wife and I had one of the best times of our lives in Crawford. Simple and wonderful. The house and grounds are charming and very comfortable, private with views and wildlife (wild turkey, deer, bird-life, fox and on and on. You'd be lucky to experience Juniper Tree Guesthouse.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We have stayed at Juniper two years in a row now. It is a slice of heaven. The cottage is great layout for a 2 bedroom - one bed/bath is upstairs the other down. It is located in a beautiful serene place - yet close enough to towns to explore local wineries, hike, bike, visit the Black Canyon and enjoy the peace and quiet. Owner is very accomadating and keeps the place spotless. And she has a wonderful garden in the front that you can pick from.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My sister and I just spent 2 nights at the Juniper tree and it was wonderful. The views are spectacular in all directions. The cabin is perfectly decorated, spotless and had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed spending time out on the patio watching the hummingbirds and bluebirds. Now I need to figure out when I can go back and spend more time there, so I can explore the area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This is the cutest cabin ever! So unique and interesting, and the accomodations and amenities exceeded our expectations! We were traveling with our two small children, who also enjoyed its charm. The patio/garden area out front is beautiful- wish we could have spent more time out there, if it had been a bit warmer. The backyard has gorgeous old growth junipers and a flock of turkeys that frequently passed thru. The front picture windows provide floor to ceiling views of Needle Rock, which is stunning! Sharon has done a great job on the decor and cleanliness, and was very accomodating. We would love to come back sometime in the summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This was a most enjoyable little cottage. The owner has taken great care to present an extremely clean and comfortable home. You felt very welcome and we were excited to stay in such a wonderful place. The surroundings are quiet except for the sounds of nature and the occasional neighbor driving past. This cottage is extremely roomy for a two bedroom home with a large kitchen/dining area and a nice large sitting room with available sterio system. A look out the window and you see needle rock only a mile or so away and Saddle Mountain. This area has much history with several days of sights available to the visitor. Black Canyon, Needle Rock, Crawford Lake and only about 30 miles from the beautiful Blue Mesa area. Again this is a wonderful place to stay and relax, the perfect getaway.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.
