Wonderful stay with parents

We stayed with our parents for a week in May 2009. The condo was perfect, with the lanai, two bedrooms and two baths. Katie even pulled the 2 twin beds together so that our parents could enjoy a king-sized bed during our stay. The condo was as described, clean and well-stocked with amenities, appliances, along with beach gear and toys. We used the lanai for all of our meals and used the rooftop deck a few times as well. Even if there is no AC, the condo was amazingly cool. Katie was wonderful--very easygoing, courteous and pleasant. We rented a car during our stay so having a parking space available was a huge plus. Our parents raved about their stay and we really enjoyed ourselves! We highly recommend this condo!

We LOVED our stay! We will be coming back for sure. Thank you so much for having such an amazing condo for us to stay in. It was by far the most comfortable, convenient, and well decorated of all the ones I saw at Menehune while I was there. We had family there in a few other condos and when they helped carry our baggage they could not believe the difference from theirs to ours. The fans are way better than the air conditioning. We got used to the heat the first day and family that had AC in their condo were not as comfortable outside as we had become because they couldn't get used to the heat. Loved the private feel of the beach access right out front. We had the windows and doors to the lanai open our entire stay. Close to everything but not in the middle of it. Just a perfect stay!

Katie's condo has to be the most well-equipped we've every stayed in! If you can think of it, its probably already there! The condo was lovely and well represented in the photos. The ocean view was a well appreciated bonus - we enjoyed waking every morning to the sounds of the birds and the ocean and the swaying of the palm tree outside our window. The condo was very clean, the beds very comfortable, and well stocked, complete with boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrellas, mats, lots of towels and even a huge cooler for those day trips. Katie was wonderful to deal with, was very organized and initiated contact with us several times before, during and after our stay. we felt welcomed and knew that if (and we did) have questions, she would be available to answer them. The long distance telephone plan allowed us to stay in touch with our family in Canada - thanks Katie. We would definitely stay in this condo again and would reccommend it to anyone travelling to Maui. Another nice bonus, Kihei is in the sunniest climate on Maui, so you always have a great day for water sports and the beach. The condo is well located, with lots of dining, beaches, hotels and activities for everyone. We also spent a week in a condo in Oahu (not owned by Katie) paying the same price as we did for this condo. Unfortunately we were very underwhelmed by that one; it was dirty, aged, and in need of repair and not even close to the beach. Plus no long distance, and very little in the way of amenities. And an owner who was less than helpful when we found ourselves in need of assistance after our car was broken into and all our ids and money stolen. Thank you Katie for making your renters a priority and our stay one of the highlights of our trip!

When we arrived it was beautiful. Katie had some fruit and a note welcoming us. The place was awesome the view was unbelievable and everyone there was nice. We had a great time on the beach at the pool, The room was stocked with everything we loved it, she had so much more than just a room, she tried to make us at home with stocking items there for us to use.. Made it alot easier and lighter suitcases. We were there for 12 nights and had no complaints. She answers any questions you might have and helps you out with anything. I cant wait to get back there. Thank you for a dream vacation.

My husband and I took our three children, my mother, and my sister to Maui and stayed in Katie's condo. It was perfect! The pictures and views are more beautiful in person and the condo really had everything we could have needed. Blender, crock pot, TONS of towels, blankets, and sheets, shampoo, sun screen, all the things you will run out of, Katie has in the condo. Katie works at Four Winds and got us on the boat and it was a ton of fun. The captain and crew were wonderful - I highly recommend it. Katie was great to work with and always very responsive. Thanks, Katie, for sharing your piece of paradise!

We absolutely loved Katie's condo. The condo was nicely decorated, and had all the amenities needed to make it feel just like home. Katie even provided fresh fruit upon our arrival, which was wonderful. The condo is centrally located to see anything you want to see on Maui and far enough away from everything so you feel like you have your own little piece of the island. Rooftop views were amazing and being able to cook in the kitchen and grill on the roof was great. The views from the bedroom and lani are breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in Maui.

Katie is a gracious host and even had fresh Hawaiian fruit waiting for us on out arrival. The condo location is just at the North end of Kihei, which made it convenient to shopping, restaurants, and to get to the east side. The condo is wonderful and very tastefully decorated.The master bed is very comfortable. Everything was provided; dish soap, shampoos, laundry detergent, etc. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels in the closet, and we definitely used them. The condo is steps away from a great, private sandy beach. We used the rooftop grill to cook up some steak one night. I would defnitely recommend Katie's place if you are looking for a tremendous place to stay in Maui! By the way, Katie didn't mention it until after we had pre-purchased another company's tickets, but she does work for the Four Winds snorkeling/diving boat that takes snorkelers to Molokini. Four Winds is rated the best snorkeling trip in Maui.

what you see is what you get. Everything in the pictures is exactly as it is. The condo was clean and well maintained. It was close to the restaurants and shopping areas. The views are spectacular. The only down side was the very soft bed ( I am a hard bed sleeper :)) and the wind on the roof made BBQ usage a little challenging. We would definitly stay again. Katie was a wonderful host.Last point, you need a car, however there is a tourist bus that travels up and down Kihei coast.

We rented this property in May, for 2 weeks, for our 10th aniversary, and had THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME THERE! It is a gorgeous condo, impeccably clean, very comfortable, with probably the best views anybody could ever imagine! We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai, just staring at the garden and the waves, listening to the songs of birds we've never seen before...It was the best choice to stay here instead of a hotel, we had enough space, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very nice kitchen and dining area, very nice TV, extremely comfortable king size bed, 2 windows and a door to the lanai in the master bedroom, we just kept them open to hear the sound of the Ocean...We couldn't have asked for anything better! Upon our arrival, Katie left for us a welcome note and a basket full of island fruits, we were very impressed to find such a nice gift when we oppened the door! Katie is the most amazing person, she thinks of all the details that make a huge difference and a memorable stay! We thank you, Katie, for everything, and for helping us make the easiest decision for the future bookings: WE WON'T EVEN CONSIDER LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT PLACE! It was better than in the pictures, better than our wildest imagination! Hope everyone who is looking for the best place in Paradise is lucky to find this place available!
