We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was very clean, fresh, and modern, just like the photos. The condo was very well stocked. The kids enjoyed using the boogie boards and beach toys. The breezes kept the condo cool and comfortable. We enjoyed the lanai, and the rooftop BBQ area (the sunsets here were great) We found everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen, which was a savings, as we did not have to eat out with a family of five every day. This was a great home base for us as we enjoyed the sights and activities on Maui. When the beaches became breezy and wavy in the afternoons, we all enjoyed the pool, which was never overcrowded. We were greeted with a welcome note and a basket full of tropical Maui fruit, which was delicious. The owner left a number to contact her should we have any problems. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a great help. The snorkeling was awesome. The fish were so beautiful. We found a great snorkeling beach one day and went on a snorkel/sail cruise to Molokini and also snorkeled with some sea turtles. We enjoyed The Old Lahaina Luau. The food, service, and entertainment were great. We drove the Road to Hana, which was pretty, but a bit scary. The kids took surf lessons with Maui Wave Riders and loved it. We all enjoyed our visit to the Maui Ocean Center. We also fit in some relaxation at the beaches, pool and condo. I would highly recommend this condo. The owner promptly sent my security check refund after our stay.

We just returned from our stay, and it was amazing! The condo is beautiful, looks just like all the photos. Everything was very clean, and organized. We have 3 kids under the ages of 6 and they had a blast, Katie has stocked the place with towels for the beach as well as sand toys, and also a pac and play for our little one. We felt so at home here! I thought it might get hot with just the fans, but I was so pleasantly surprised to find that there was a constant breeze that kept the condo at just the perfect temperature. The beach is just steps away, and was never crowded and neither was the pool. The grounds were amazingly kept up and the kids had a great time exploring. I will recommend this place to anyone, and we hope to go back in the future!

We LOVED our stay! We will be coming back for sure. Thank you so much for having such an amazing condo for us to stay in. It was by far the most comfortable, convenient, and well decorated of all the ones I saw at Menehune while I was there. We had family there in a few other condos and when they helped carry our baggage they could not believe the difference from theirs to ours. The fans are way better than the air conditioning. We got used to the heat the first day and family that had AC in their condo were not as comfortable outside as we had become because they couldn't get used to the heat. Loved the private feel of the beach access right out front. We had the windows and doors to the lanai open our entire stay. Close to everything but not in the middle of it. Just a perfect stay!

Beautiful, Well Equipped, Ocean Facing

Katie's condo has to be the most well-equipped we've every stayed in! If you can think of it, its probably already there! The condo was lovely and well represented in the photos. The ocean view was a well appreciated bonus - we enjoyed waking every morning to the sounds of the birds and the ocean and the swaying of the palm tree outside our window. The condo was very clean, the beds very comfortable, and well stocked, complete with boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrellas, mats, lots of towels and even a huge cooler for those day trips. Katie was wonderful to deal with, was very organized and initiated contact with us several times before, during and after our stay. we felt welcomed and knew that if (and we did) have questions, she would be available to answer them. The long distance telephone plan allowed us to stay in touch with our family in Canada - thanks Katie. We would definitely stay in this condo again and would reccommend it to anyone travelling to Maui. Another nice bonus, Kihei is in the sunniest climate on Maui, so you always have a great day for water sports and the beach. The condo is well located, with lots of dining, beaches, hotels and activities for everyone. We also spent a week in a condo in Oahu (not owned by Katie) paying the same price as we did for this condo. Unfortunately we were very underwhelmed by that one; it was dirty, aged, and in need of repair and not even close to the beach. Plus no long distance, and very little in the way of amenities. And an owner who was less than helpful when we found ourselves in need of assistance after our car was broken into and all our ids and money stolen. Thank you Katie for making your renters a priority and our stay one of the highlights of our trip!

When we arrived it was beautiful. Katie had some fruit and a note welcoming us. The place was awesome the view was unbelievable and everyone there was nice. We had a great time on the beach at the pool, The room was stocked with everything we loved it, she had so much more than just a room, she tried to make us at home with stocking items there for us to use.. Made it alot easier and lighter suitcases. We were there for 12 nights and had no complaints. She answers any questions you might have and helps you out with anything. I cant wait to get back there. Thank you for a dream vacation.

My husband and I took our three children, my mother, and my sister to Maui and stayed in Katie's condo. It was perfect! The pictures and views are more beautiful in person and the condo really had everything we could have needed. Blender, crock pot, TONS of towels, blankets, and sheets, shampoo, sun screen, all the things you will run out of, Katie has in the condo. Katie works at Four Winds and got us on the boat and it was a ton of fun. The captain and crew were wonderful - I highly recommend it. Katie was great to work with and always very responsive. We absolutely loved Katie's condo. The condo was nicely decorated, and had all the amenities needed to make it feel just like home. Katie even provided fresh fruit upon our arrival, which was wonderful. The condo is centrally located to see anything you want to see on Maui and far enough away from everything so you feel like you have your own little piece of the island. Rooftop views were amazing and being able to cook in the kitchen and grill on the roof was great. The views from the bedroom and lani are breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay in Maui.

Katie is a gracious host and even had fresh Hawaiian fruit waiting for us on out arrival. The condo location is just at the North end of Kihei, which made it convenient to shopping, restaurants, and to get to the east side. The condo is wonderful and very tastefully decorated.The master bed is very comfortable. Everything was provided; dish soap, shampoos, laundry detergent, etc. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels in the closet, and we definitely used them. The condo is steps away from a great, private sandy beach. We used the rooftop grill to cook up some steak one night. I would defnitely recommend Katie's place if you are looking for a tremendous place to stay in Maui! By the way, Katie didn't mention it until after we had pre-purchased another company's tickets, but she does work for the Four Winds snorkeling/diving boat that takes snorkelers to Molokini. Four Winds is rated the best snorkeling trip in Maui.

what you see is what you get. Everything in the pictures is exactly as it is. The condo was clean and well maintained. It was close to the restaurants and shopping areas. The views are spectacular. The only down side was the very soft bed ( I am a hard bed sleeper :)) and the wind on the roof made BBQ usage a little challenging. We would definitly stay again. Katie was a wonderful host.Last point, you need a car, however there is a tourist bus that travels up and down Kihei coast.

We rented this property in May, for 2 weeks, for our 10th aniversary, and had THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME THERE! It is a gorgeous condo, impeccably clean, very comfortable, with probably the best views anybody could ever imagine! We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai, just staring at the garden and the waves, listening to the songs of birds we've never seen before...It was the best choice to stay here instead of a hotel, we had enough space, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very nice kitchen and dining area, very nice TV, extremely comfortable king size bed, 2 windows and a door to the lanai in the master bedroom, we just kept them open to hear the sound of the Ocean...We couldn't have asked for anything better! Upon our arrival, Katie left for us a welcome note and a basket full of island fruits, we were very impressed to find such a nice gift when we oppened the door! Katie is the most amazing person, she thinks of all the details that make a huge difference and a memorable stay! We thank you, Katie, for everything, and for helping us make the easiest decision for the future bookings: WE WON'T EVEN CONSIDER LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT PLACE! We just returned March 12th from a wonderful week staying in this condo. There were four adults and the condo had everything that we required plus it was decorated nicely with TV's for the guys and plenty of room. We enjoyed watching the whales from the lanai. What a glorious two weeks we had here. It had all the comforts of home, but with a beautiful view of the ocean! Our favorite time of day was sunrise on the lanai, where we could drink our morning coffee, enjoy the sound of the ocean and the cool breezes. After the sun rose, we watched the whales and people kite and wind surfing. It was great watching the Olympics on the HD flat screen tv. Absolutely loved the place!!!!

We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We had a wonderful stay at Menehune Shores 223 over Christmas vacation. The condo had a great view(sunset side of building, a plus!), was beautifully remodeled, and was at a great location in Kehei. We always leave and go to different beaches around the island each day, so this was a great place to return and enjoy the sunset and relax each night.

This condo is beautiful! So much better than a hotel. You feel like you have a home on Maui. The view is amazing; we could see whales from our bedroom window. Easy access to all the less "tourist" type activities we wanted while still being close to shopping, restaurants and of course all the beaches you could want. We bought tons of fresh local fruit and vegetables from the swap meet and made great meals at the condo so we could splurge at the restaurants we wanted to hit without breaking the bank. Katie, our contact, was very kind and knowledgeable; she also really helped us to crank our Maui vacation up to 11.

My friends and I just returned from a week at this great condo and we are very happy to report that it is everything described and more. The location is great - steps from a small beach to take sunset strolls on - and though it is just up the road from restaurants and shopping centers, it still feels like you are removed from everything when you enter the condo. The condo itself is great. Everything is in good shape and the decor is very nice (beds are comfy, too). We saved a ton of money by having a kitchen - breakfasts on the lanai watching the tide go out and being able to pack picnic lunches. We also used the rooftop BBQ - don't miss the view at sunset. This was my first time renting a condo instead of using a hotel and I am so happy we did. We felt like we were home! Katie was great and did everything she could to make us feel welcome.I can't wait until we can return and stay here again and will definatley be recommending this to all of our friends.

This two bedroom condo was a dream come true. My ten year old son and myself needed a getaway from the old grind, and this condo was the answer. It was spacious and decorated so nicely, the ammenities were so helpful to have. We didnt have to pack shampoo or conditioner or soap, and could even wash our clothes there. The master bed is to die for, I slept like a baby on the most compfortable bed, and the ocean sounds rolling in and out of the shore was very nice to fall asleep to and then wake up to. My son said for our next vacation he wants to go back to MAUI vs Disney World. He loved walking on the beach looking for shells and swimming in the ocean, which is right outside the condo. We felt like it was our own private beach. I cant say enough - thank you Katie for taking such good care of us! I give the condo a 5 star rating.

This Condo was fantastic, very homely, kitchen had all you need to be self sufficient. Being right by the water and also having the option of the pool was great and the roof top deck had amazing views!!! The bed in the master room was amazing, best sleep I have had ever. Even though there was no air-conditioning it was no worry as the Condo stayed nice and cool with the fans, the temperature was perfect. Menehune Shores condo 223 was faboulous! The owner, Katie, could not have been more helpful or accomodating. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we could have needed. We celebrated my Mom's birthday while at the condo (May 13 - 20)and I was even able to bake her a cake! The location of the condo was very centeral and we got to visit some beautiful beaches not very far from home. I traveled with two small children and having the ability to stay in a "home away" from home was a blessing. Katie, helped is with everything from putting the two single beds together to make a queen size bed to recommending an outstanding Laua. There isn't AC in the unit but frankly, its not necessary with the great winds that come in from the sea. Great condo, great location, great owner and FANTASTIC island. We'll be back for sure. We stayed with our parents for a week in May 2009. The condo was perfect, with the lanai, two bedrooms and two baths. Katie even pulled the 2 twin beds together so that our parents could enjoy a king-sized bed during our stay. The condo was as described, clean and well-stocked with amenities, appliances, along with beach gear and toys. We used the lanai for all of our meals and used the rooftop deck a few times as well. Even if there is no AC, the condo was amazingly cool. Katie was wonderful--very easygoing, courteous and pleasant. We rented a car during our stay so having a parking space available was a huge plus. Our parents raved about their stay and we really enjoyed ourselves! We highly recommend this condo!

My wife, and my children really enjoyed staying at this condo. It is really well maintained, nice kitcheen, excellent and confortable beds, good accessories, and a wonderful view from the beach. For us, it was the perfect location much less noisy than staying right downtown of Kihei, beach is good, but not a perfect location if you wish to surf, or doing snorkling. Although, within 5 minutes drive you can have access to beautiful beaches. When we will visit back Kihei, we will definitely stay again here... Thanks Katie for your excellent accommodation. What a comfortable condo on the ocean. Great cross winds blow through the unit when you have the screen and front door open. Everything you could need is available. What a comfortable home away from home! From the warm welcoming to the splendid views, the fully equiped kitchen complete with jucier for making fresh oj in the morning, this condo was wonderful for us. Having two full baths is a godsend! Breakfast on the Lanai is a treat. Steps to the beach for morning or evening walks. Location was great, off a main road. Shops and Grocers within a mile. Idealy situated in the center of many activities.What a great time we had, and wish it was a longer stay. We will be back.

We enjoyed the condo over Spring Break. Nicely decorated and well stocked. Really comfortable bed. Not located right in the "middle" of Kihei but certainly close by. The beach in front of the condo had recently been plowed but the beach is pretty rocky - not great. But some great beaches are within a short drive.

The condo was very clean and had a nice 'home' feel to it. It is just as lovely as the pictures show; and our group got plenty of mileage out of the lanai - easily our favorite hangout place when we were home. The management was extremely courteous and helpful; she gave us plenty of insider tips to the questions we asked about activities that we wanted to do on the trip. If I ever have an opportunity to go back to Maui, I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Condo!! The only place we will stay in Maui!! Stayed for one week with my 75 year old mom. Loved the location and amenities. View was fantastic. Woke up in the morning and sat on the Lanai, drinking coffee watching the whales jumping. You can actually lay in the King size bed and watch the ocean. Awesome. Owners personal touches really made the whole vacation very special. Thank you.

Condo was spacious and slept 6 people comfortably. However, more towels were needed for 6 people due to bathing, pools and beach use. We ended up doing a load of towels every night.

We stayed at Menehune Shores for one week and this was a perfect location , right on the coast and central to all the great sights and activities in Maui. The condo was lovely, with all the amenities (and more!) that you could ask for. The owners have put their own personal touches to the property so that it feels like a home rather than a motel room. The BBQ area on the roof was stunning with magnificent views across Maui. My only regret was that we could not stay for longer! We would definitely stay at the Menehune Shores when we return to Maui.

I stayed at this suite for a week in September 2008 and was very impressed. The owner was very friendly and professional and added extra touches to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. The condo is spacious, very clean, well appointed and has everything you could possibly need. The property has great amenities (pool, BBQ's, restaurant) and is very conveniently located. The view from the lanai is fantastic and you can hear the ocean both from the lanai and the master bedroom. I strongly recommend this condo as an excellant place to stay in Maui and look forward to returning myself.

We just celebrated our 1st year anniversary a few months ago and got the lucky opportunity to stay here for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The location was perfect for restaurants, grocery stores as well as coffee shops and cafes. It was located about 15 foot steps away from the water which felt like our own private little beach. It was beautifully decorated and equipped with all the necessary amenities for just hanging out. One of the best days for myself was when we had spent a long day snorkeling and driving up the coast my wife and I just decided to stay in that evening and cook a nice dinner on the balcony. The price was better than what some friends of ours were paying less than a mile away. They got the number from us for the next time they come back. We really feel that we lucked out and will absolutely stay there again when we return. It will not disappoint.
