This is a comfortable accommodation between Zion and Bryce for 6 to 7 people. We spent 4 nights. This listing description was accurate, so were the photos shown. The cabin was clean, well maintained and reasonably well furnished. It was too bad that previous renters had scratched the non-stick pans and pots. Owner (Lisa) was helpful and professional. It is a central location for visiting Zion, Bryce and Kanab area such as the Sand Dunes state park, all are about an hour drive away. It is isolated, rather quiet except for some traffic noise on highway 89. We missed the turn in 3 times in the dark because the bear with the fish by the side of the road was dimly lighted. The ground is not paved, rough gravel, it was ok for us because it was dry. The bricks under the wood stove are in the way by the front door. It will be good if there is a motion activated flood light in front for people returning in the dark. There is a small country grocery store in Orderville (4 miles south) and none in Glendale. Sure, we would recommend the place to others and use it should we be in that area again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+.

What a find! Perfect jump off point for Bryce, Zion and Lake Powell.Clean, well stocked kitchen with amazing outdoor cooking facilities. The air conditioning made the 100+ degree heat bearable, especially at night. Bedrooms were simply decorated, uncluttered and beds were comfortable. The cabin felt like you were staying at your favourite aunty and uncle's house...homely, warm and filled with family comforts. Thank you!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

My husband, my best friend. her son, and I stayed at this cabin in Sept. 2010 and found it very comfortable with the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Good location to both Bryce Canyon and Zion parks, but make sure you have your directions with you if you are arriving after dark, since it's pretty much impossible to see from the road in the dark. We all slept well, enjoyed the living room and TV, and making meals in the kitchen, which is well stocked. Great front porch and the back yard is full of sunflowers. You'll need an ax if you want to use the fire pit. My security deposit was refunded in a timely manner, also. So this is really a great place to stay in the area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

We went to Utah in June 2009. We had a great time here. It was just off the hwy and about 30 minutes to an hour to about everywhere we wanted to see. We even drove to the North rim one day. It was an all day trip but worth it to those in our party who have never seen the Grand Canyon before. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. There were 2 full baths. 3 bedrooms. I would stay here again if ever in the area. The fire pit and BBQ area was great. We roasted marshmallows and cooked out on the grill one night. The two little towns nearby closed down early so make sure to have your groceries bought early or bring them with you. There was a nice porch swing we took advantage of. The couch in the living room made out into a full size bed. The even had a cot for my son to sleep on. The wood stove was nice even though it was not cool enough to use it. They had a well stocked kitchen. TV with game system even though we did not use it much. One of the bedrooms had a TV that was a nice touch. The washing machine and dryer were great after spending 4 days there and continuing our travels we could leave with clean clothes. There were 5 people total in our party and had plenty of space to relax after days of sightseeing. They had plenty of brochures of local and nearby attractions. We drove here from Las Vegas and it was a very nice drive. They were doing road construction while we were there but it did not bother us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: My husband grew up in this area and it is a special place to him. He spent his childhood in these 'great outdoors'. We wanted to have a place to bring our own family back and enjoy this beautiful country!
Why the Owner Chose Bryce Canyon National Park:
This cabin has been a 'part of the family' for two decades. We wanted to have a place to bring our family to visit and call our own. We were fortunate to acquire this piece of property from family and also 'moved'.....yes, moved, the cabin onto this land. We have put a lot of hard work and dedication into making this cabin and property a comfortable retreat. The remodeling process has been an adventure and we hope to continue to build a lifetime of memories!
