We were disappointed with our stay at Kingdom Come and ended up leaving early. The pool was full of algae and unusable . We arrived on Saturday, upon departing Wednesday the pool was still being treated by the pool company and was supposed to be ready for use later that day. One of our primary reasons for renting the property was for the private pool. In addition to this major frustration, the house was not well maintained and was not very clean. The kitchen was sparsely furnished having little silverware and most of the pots and pans were unusable. The vacuum also didn't work and the bedding was very worn and felt dirty (waterproof plastic mattress covers were awful). Our leasing agent worked to get some of these issues resolved and did the best he could with the situation . We ended up switching houses mid week and had a much more enjoyable vacation. A good head to toe cleaning, new bedding (mattress pads, sheets, blankets , and pillows) , new pots/pans and silverware would do a lot for this property. I hope that the pool issue is resolved as well.

Owner response:We are so sorry that the pool was unacceptable the first few days. The pool company installed the salt dispenser improperly the day before you arrived. We called them to return on the Saturday and Sunday- unfortunately, it was Easter weekend, and no one was available until Monday. Thankfully, we were able to move you as soon as another cottage came available. We were able to replace the vacuum and the kitchen utensils the same day that the guest reported problems as well. Again our apologies for the inconvenience.

Oh my! I loved this cottage!!! Everything about it was perfect. The size, the amenities, the layout, the pool and yard were all incredibly amazing...and the place was emasculate. I can not say enough about the location of the property. The gorgeous pristine beach is within a couple minutes walking distance and cafes and shops were with in walking distance as well. It was the perfect place to get relax, rest and be refreshed. I can't wait to go back and I would recommend it to any one...I promise you will LOVE IT!

We have rented several houses in this area and this was the best yet. Close to everything we needed, nicely furnished inside and out. Look forward to a return visit with our family..

Amazing House!!!

We had a group of girls stay here for a long getaway weekend and had a blast!!! I am not familar with this area and was nervous about booking but I could not have picked a better house if I had been down there looking for a week! The house was clean, everything was in order and the pool was amazing!! We actually spent most of our time by the pool because it was pretty hot on the beach. But the beach is literally a 2 minute walk with a public beach access right across the main road. One other nice thing is that the house didn't come with a key. There was a security key pad to let us in which ended up be very easy with everyone coming in and out all day long. It also made check-in and check-out very easy because we didn't have to return a key, etc. Overall, this house was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!

We just returned from a short week at the beach and truly loved staying at Kingdom Come! What a beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet home! This was our last spring break before our teenager heads to college and it was perfect! It was so close to the beach and within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. We created a wonderful memory and look forward to returning again to Kingdom Come!

Surrounded by trees and other lovely homes, the house was just far enough from the main road to be quiet, but still very close to the beach--a two-minute walk. It is also close enough to food markets and the village of Seaside to walk to. The house is beautifully decorated with comfy furniture, the cooking facilities are great, the bathrooms private, and the two porches very comfortable and relaxing. In addition, the rental company, Sandpiper Vacation Rentals, is extremely responsive and accommodating. I would not only return to this particular property but also go through the same rental company.

We loved this house! The layout was perfect for our family. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed that was built into the hallway outside of the master bedroom. The family room had plenty of seating and a nice big tv. We also really enjoyed the pool and pretty patio area. It is a very short walk to the beach which made it easy to run back to the house for drinks, books, etc. It is a long walk to the market square at Seaside, especially with young kids in tow. Next year we will be more organized and plan a few more meals at home. It is however, a very short walk to the "V Restaurant" which was excellent. The restaurant is not kid friendly and does not have high chairs. We did see kids there and our boys were fine since they are older. We had a great time and would love to stay at "Kingdom Come" again!

This is truly the perfect spot for families or as was my case...a girlfriend get-a-way. Each level of the cottage has many amenities and features for those fortunate enough to stay there. Even though there is more than enough room, the cozy feeling one receives along with the warmth of the decor helps to make your experience so relaxing. You can immediately tell it is and has been well cared for. A bonus was the SHORT walk to the beach, the private pool, and being able to experience all that Seaside had to offer. Simply put...I loved it!

My first vacation to Seaside Beach and there is no other place I would rather stay. Kingdom Come is a beautiful beach home - I say home as it has exactly that feeling - comfy, cozy, and fun. The decor is so fresh, every amenity you might desire, a wonderful pool, location the best and not a single thing I would change. The owner has paid attention to detail - what you see in the photos is exactly what you get - and more!!! A short distance from the beach, great for biking and walking, shopping and eating within walking distance - fun for family or a girl's week at the beach. You can't go wrong at Kingdom Come.

Five Ladies came down for a girlfriend getaway and we had a blast. The home is very comfortable and conducive for socializing. We enjoyed the starry nights on the tower deck, the heated the pool for a little time in the water and the convienient location to Seaside and the beach.

This house was delightful and an easy walk to the beach. We grilled out our catch of the day, went swimming, and mostly relaxed. This house is so comfortable and beautifully decorated!

This was the perfect place for our vacation! It was great being able to walk less than a block to the beach, to walk a few blocks to Seaside and all the fabulous places to eat and shop! The house was very comfortable, and it was great to have our own pool to cool off in or relax by....my kids especially loved the house and we all want to come back again!!!

We have stayed in Seaside or Watercolor for the past 10 years and loved this house. We wondered if we'd miss being anything by not staying in the town limits of Seaside or in Watercolor, but we were MUCH closer to the beach, closer to the Seaside shops and restaurants, plus we had our own pool. Our whole family loved it, and we had plenty of room to spread out and play indoors on a rainy day. It is beautifully decorated and has everything we needed for a great week at the beach. Thank you!

My husband and two young children had a wonderful time staying here. Having the pool in the backyard was a huge plus. We would have coffee each morning on the front porch, read books on the screened porch in the afternoon and drinks on the top deck (with the view of the ocean), in the evening. We were just a block away from the beach which was an easy walk, even with 2 small kids in tow. Most nights we would walk to Seaside for dinner and enjoy a nice stroll back to our home afterwards. I highly recommend this property due to its ammentities, location and comfort.

We had a great time at Kingdom Come! It is in such a perfect location for riding bikes into Seaside and just a very short walk to the beach!! The home is beautifully decorated with all you need to have a wonderful vacation! Highly recommend this beautiful home. Enjoy!

Kingdom Come is a fantastic place to spend any vacation! It has every ammenity, including a heated pool, balconies to enjoy the view and enough room to have quiet time even when you are sharing the house with 9 adults! Our trip to Kingdom Come was fantastic! It is minutes from Seaside and the beach, with several fun activities close by! It has a gorgeous pool and patio, where we were able to entertain the entire group. The house was decorated beautifully, with plenty of space for a big group to stay comfortably (we slept 9 with no problems). I would recommend this house to anyone and can't wait until I get to go back!

This house is AMAZING! My husband and I stayed here over New Years and were so impressed with how spacious the house is and how many entertaining areas there are....from the pool patio to the rooftop balcony with wet bar...the fun never stopped! The rooms are gorgeous! My husband especially loved watching the New Years Day games on the MASSIVE flat screen TV in the family room. What a great way to ring in 2009! We will definitely be back!

This house is amazing! It is very close to the beach and has a wonderful pool. This home is perfect for large families. It has a huge flatscreen TV and internet. I cannot believe how many people it accommodates! It even had a pac and play. I vacation in Seaside every year and I plan to use this house again and again!!!!

WOW!!! This house is GREAT!!!! It has a pool right outside, which is perfect if you have kids!!! You can swim and relax while they have nap time! The decor is so cool, beds are comfy, and it is just a stroll away from the center of Seaside!! We will definitely be staying here again!!

We have been going to Seaside for the past 7 years for vacation! This was our first stay at Kingdom Come and it was our best trip ever! Kingdom Come was the perfect house for us because of its location! It is 2 blocks from Seaside (we walked to Modica every morning for the fresh muffins and coffee)and steps away from the beach (like three houses down I think?). Our favorite part was the private pool! Our kids could come back and nap after a morning at the beach and we got to hang out by the BEAUTIFUL pool (and no worries if you have little ones as it as an alarm that TOTALLY serves its purpose)! We used the pool MULTIPLE times every day! Great feature!!! I cannot say enough good things about the BEAUTIFUL decor of the house! It is the most comfortable house I have stayed in! Great couches, PLENTY of seating etc!! I HIGHLY recommend Kingdom Come! I know we will definitely stay there next we head to Seaside!

Kingdom Come is like Heaven on Earth. This trendy beach house is complete with every amenity, convenience, and accommodation you could imagine. With it's own amazing private pool, Kingdom Come is just steps from the beach and from the main Seaside square - but for half the price! This beach house is so spacious, peaceful, and relaxing, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

I enjoyed every moment of my stay in Seaside, FL largley in part to the house in which I was staying. My family and I always have our "family vacation" on Labor Day of each year (in Seaside for the past 5 years). This year was our first time to spend our vacation in this wonderful 3-story house. What a convenience it is to have a swimming pool at your house; I'm talking all to yourselves. You don't have to share with anyone. We did end up sharing with friends who were down in Florida the same week as us. But other than the pool, the beach is literally 200 yards away from the front porch (pretty convenient, I'd say). Since we were a little over-crowded, I had the privelege of sleeping in the third floor wet bar/balcony. Couldn't have worked out any better for me. Clear skies every night, and peace and quiet. Everything about this house is convenient, and belive me, that's all you want after a long year of work. If you pick this house for your vacation, smart choice. Have fun and enjoy.
