  • We had a fantastic time staying in the Lake Tahoe area, and the cabin in Tahoma owned by Jenny and Brady Sherman was just perfect as our holiday home. The house was in a very quiet area and we barely saw our neighbours which meant that the peace and quiet we sought for the holiday was plentiful. The house was beautifully decorated inside, with all the 'stuff' you need in a holiday home. As well as the obvious (kitchen equipment, washer, dryer, tv etc) there were great linens on the beds, large thick towels in the bathroom, all the cooking equipment you would ever need, masses of crockery and pots and pans, a wonderful open fire, a hot tub and grill in the garden.....the list goes on. The attention to detail really was very impressive - it felt so much more than a holiday rental - much more like a staying in someone's home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the Tahoe area. We stayed in July and the weather was lovely and warm but we want to go back in the winter and use it as a base for skiing as there are some great ski areas very close by.
