Enjoy my New 2000+ sqft under AC private waterfront pool home with a dock for a sailboat or fishing boat. This Home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the end of a circle street so traffic is light. The only noise is the boats going up and down the waterway.
There is a large 13 x 42 master suite with 2 person roman heated Jacuzzi, a large shower and a walk in closet, queen bed, and separate seating area to relax and watch cable TV privately away from other guests. Each room has a nice fan light combo, 8 throughout the house.
This Split plan house is open in the center with a large family area, large kitchen with granite counters and breakfast area. 13' recessed ceilings granite bar, and separate laundry room.
8 ft high fully nesting glass sliding doors provide an unobstructed opening to the lanai, pool area and waterway view.
Two additional bedrooms with a full bath between. Each with cable TV internet and fan/light, one queen, one double, additional beds available if needed for children.
All linens, towels, napkins, placemats, small appliances, etc. provided. Fully furnished. Bring only your clothes. We have internet/cable TV in every bedroom, bring your laptop! Kids bring your games, play in your room.
There is outside dining on the lanai and a large 3 burner stainless Gas BBQ grill with side burner. Pool lounges are provided for the fully screened pool deck. A covered section of the deck allows you to cook even if the occasional shower happens upon you.
You can hear the Snook attacking the crabs in the shallow water at night and watch the Eagles fish the water in the morning. There are otters on the water's edges most evenings. A beautiful brown hawk sits on the sailboat mast and hunts the many vacant canal lots nearby.
Rent a boat locally, keep it at the dock and fish Charlotte harbor just like H.W. Bush, or travel to deserted (boat acess only) Cayo Costa for a Gulf beach picnic and fantastic shelling.
Relax in our custom designed new pool. Cuddle together in one of two in-pool loveseats with the pool light on at night to project a romantic setting across the entire pool deck, or swim at night under a full moon with all the lights off.
The Mall, Movie Theaters, Sam’s Club, Target, Wal-Mart, Publix’s Grocery and great restaurants (Sam Seltzer's, $10.95 Prime Rib and Caraba's Italian Steak Marsalla) are minutes away.
Englewood and Venice Gulf beaches are a 15 minute ride, another 5 minutes gets you to the beautiful gulf beach and great fishing area of Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island

Why the Owner Chose Punta Gorda
We originally purchased this and some other waterfront property in the area in 2000, when the prices were right, we were only interested in having a parking dock for our sail boat, but as you can see we later decided to build. Our dock is only 15 minutes from Charlotte harbor with no bridges or locks to deal with so we can go out fishing in the morning and be home in time to throw the fish on our grill.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the area since the fishing at the dock and in the surrounding canals is excellent year round. we love the secluded beaches at the cayo costa national park, seashore and love to go to the beach at englewood or at Gasparilla pass. also the fishing is great in the bay. also we can leave our dock and be in the Tortouga's or Key West with an overnight sail and catch some great fish on the way. For Fishing and Boating it is hard to beat Charlotte Harbor.

Dear Bill, We departed PV a little early because the "bite was off" as fishermen say. We left your beautiful home tidied and with most of the towels and linens washed and replaced on shelves. Thank you again for sharing Parrot Villa with us. I left behind, by mistake, a novel, "Acts of Faith" on the night table in the MB. If you find it, please (1) read it, quite extraordinary if depressing about the conflict in Sudan; then (2) perhaps I can reclaim it at your place in Townsend if not PV. Hi Bill, Thank you for allowing us to stay at your house. We had a great time. We just loved the layout of you home, very open and bright. The kids had a great time in the pool and my 11 year old daughter caught 8 (red snapper?) and 2 cat fish off the dock the very first day we fished. I didn't get much fishing in that day. I was busy baiting her hook and pulling fish off the line. I ended up only catching 3-4 fish first day. Then I got smart and taught her to put the shrimp on the hook and get the fish off. J Things got a lot more even after that… We would love to stay at your house again – thank you. The broadband connection helped me keep in touch often with my office and they didn't seem to miss me much at all J MORE VACATIONS!!!
