Enjoy our condo in this tropical paradise surrounded by great beaches, shopping, golf, and restaurants. Coquina Beach is a Sanibel 40 unit Gulf-front complex with tennis, pool, picnic area, and barbeque grills. Coquina is located at the eastern end of Middle Gulf Drive and is just a short walk or bike ride to many favorite Sanibel locations.
The condo has been recently updated with all new living room furniture and pull out sofa (Nov 2010), a newly remodeled kitchen, new beds, two touring bikes, and three TVs in the living room and two bedrooms. We also provide free wireless high speed internet access. Enjoy a great vacation and take advantage of everything that Sanibel and Captiva Islands have to offer.
A recent New York Times article writes, "A family learns that Sanibel in Florida is habit-forming... Now with strict zoning and environmental regulation, the winter population rarely rises above 30,000. Nature preserves make up 50 percent of the island's acreage, the beaches are not crowded, and tourists like us can enjoy the best of both worlds... We rent bicycles and tour parts of the islands 23 miles of hill-free bike trails, swim in the pool, and comb the beach to our heart's content."

We have vacationed on Sanibel for more than a dozen years. We keep returning for the beauty, the tranquility, and the tropical warmth, look and feel of the island.

Had a wonderful time. Very nice family condo- lots of nice families vacationing at the same time- but never crowded. Very quiet and my teenagers really enjoyed having the tennis court and racquets available. We especially enjoyed the bikes would like to come back next summer and stay here. Again, thanks for letting our family stay here! The Pirainos

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this well-equipped, well-placed condo. We were two minutes from the beach where beautiful shells wash upon the shore. Two bicycles were available for our use, and provided another way of exploring the island. We swam often in the pool, just a moment from our door. The shopping on the island is fun and varied. Many restaurants provide excellent cuisine. This condo provided comfort and all amenities we could have needed, including laundry machines. We will return!

What a beautiful week we have enjoyed! The weather has been constant around 78 to 80 degrees, perfect for beach walks, biking, swimming in the pool and exploring the islands. This condo is close to all attractions, retaurants and shops. We found everything we needed in this well-equipped accomodation, from bikes to beach chairs, washer and dryer, tennis rackets and beach toys. It is quiet and restful, The neighbours we met at the pool are friendly and welcoming. We wish we could stop the clock and stay longer. Our favourite activities include the trolley tour around the Ding Darling Reserve, a boat ride to see the dolphins off Captiva, an evening at the local theater to see "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and bike rides in all directions. We are already making plans to return next year.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This condo is everything the owners described. It is in a wonderful location near the pool and ocean. This is a wonderful location for a family, so much to do including walks at night on the beach as a family with flashlights looking for sea creatures. The unit comes with everything you need for a day at the beach too! Very comfortable beds and new furniture. We would stay again, it is just a beautiful part of Florida with an island relaxing feel to it.

We have stayed at many VRBO listings but none have been as well equipped as this property. Everything we needed for an amazing week at the beach was provided- beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, tennis rackets for the court right outside the door and most of all bicycles! The photos represent this clean, updated unit well.
Owner response:Thank you very much for your review. We have long been guests at many other condos and are still relatively new to the ownership side. We want to make this unit as "visit friendly" as possible with many helpful amenities and so this is wonderful to get this feedback.

This place is great. Walked to the lighthouse, biked to the lighthouse and walked the beach. Lots to see and do. Shopped at Periwinkle Centre, great cloths. Enjoyed the bikes and the quiet surroundings. Hd a terrific time and will be back!
