The Happy Days is a vintage home located in MonteRio, California in the Terraces above the Russian River, Refurbished, and appointed with period furnishings and artwork, The Happy Days is a quiet and peaceful respite. Here, once can begin writing that long put-off book or compose an aria on the upright piano, all inspired by a view of the redwoods occupied by busy squirrels and Stellar Jays. It is a 15-minute walk to down the hill to town, the local cafes and the beach. If you prefer a robust walk, hike along the old lumber trials amidst the conifers and redwoods. Or, you can sit in the and soak up the ambience of the main or lower gardens.
The Happy Days is a very comfortable home featuring a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen that adjoins the dining room, and to sip morning coffee, walk out onto a sunny porch. Step down from the kitchen into the pantry, television room, and modern bathroom.
The house has the following amenities: full-size refrigerator, convection stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, small food processor, flatware, general cookware and dishes, clothes washer and dryer. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed; bedroom on the second floor has twin beds; and the television room has a pullout bed that sleeps one adult. All bed and bath linens are provided.
Other amenities include: Cable TV with HBO, DVD/VHS player, catalogued VHS videos, local history books, and some games. Stereo in living room has some CDs as well as Internet connection and a telephone land line. You are encouraged to bring your own books or movies. There is a small charcoal Weber barbecue grill.
Please NOTE: This is a QUIET, PEACEFUL RETREAT and is NOT A PARTY HOUSE. The Happy Days comfortably accommodates two adult couples and NO SMOKING or PETS.
