Honu Kai which means "Sea Turtle " in the Hawaiian language is a beautifully refurbished Hawaiian beach house with all the amenities you could wish for on your vacation. The house was updated with new furniture, linens and WIFI in 2006 and is constantly being checked and improved on by the owners and efficient house keeping staff.
If you need more sleeping accommodations or desire to have your own private cove, our guest studio with a queen sized bed located across the street may be rented separately or in conjunction with Honu Kai.
The snorkeling entrance to the ponds is across the narrow street a mere 25 steps from the front of the house. You can sit on the house's front deck and enjoy fresh papaya in the morning picked from the nearby papaya plantations or relax in the hammock downstairs with a good book during the heat of the day.
Maybe a bike ride thru the community followed by a restful soaking in the Jacuzzi in the private backyard under a full moon with the tiki torches giving only enough light to illuminate the coconut palms is your fantasy.
When it's time to turn in enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing on the reef in the distance or maybe the rain pounding on the house's tin roof. In this part of the world there is only the sounds of nature at night.
