To tell you a little about Haiku it is a small, community on the north shore of Maui. There are nearby grocery stores, shops, banks, gas stations, and restaurants in the area. We are just minutes from the towns of Makawao and Paia, which also offer great restaurants and shopping. Haiku is considered the country area of Maui. We are not in walking distance of beaches, but we are a very short drive away. Haiku is also just a five minute drive from the world famous Ho’okipa windsurfing beach, one of the best places on the island for windsurfing! Other activities available in the area include swimming, surfing, horseback riding, biking, golf and helicopter rides. Surrounded by a setting of beautiful landscapes, the town of Haiku is near Halehaku Bay, and many secluded hiking trails and walking paths.
