What a wonderful location!

We stayed at this beautiful home for the Columbus day weekend and we couldn't have decided on a more perfect home and location! My husband and I spent the long weekend there with his parents who were visiting from Australia. The views from everywhere in the house were incredible! I can't remember the last time I woke up to such a perfect scene of mist over the lake and ducks lazily cruising across the lake. The foliage was in full color this weekend too which made the scene look like it was from a postcard! We all agreed that this serene home on Webster lake really made our weekend of leaf-peeping absolutely perfect. The only thing that could make it more perfect would have been to have the use of a paddle boat or kayak while at this idealistic lake location. Thank you so much and we hope to be back many times in the future!

Very nice Cottage

We were very pleased with the accommodations. We had a family gathering and the large lawn with picnic table worked very well. Perfect size beach and dock with clear, clean water. Enjoyed feeding the fish each morning from the deck. Rooms large and everything was very clean. Views across the lake were beautiful and a very nice location for day trips around NH, VT, and ME. Would recommend and rent again.

great family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Webster Lake. The house was clean, well-maintained, and large enough to give each family member some space. It had expansive waterfront views. The owner was available and responsive to questions. The lake is quiet during the week, perfect for relaxing. Would recommend for a peaceful family getaway. There is no marina on the lake, but Jay's marina, nearby, provided drop-off service to the boat ramp so we could enjoy tubing, water-skiing, and fishing.

A wonderful place for a great vacation

My husband and I and our two huskies stayed at this house for about two weeks. It was business and also some fun in the snow. When we saw the house on the website, we knew we wanted to stay there. It looked so comfortable and cozy. However, the photos on the website do not do justice to this house. It really is a great place with beautiful views of the lake (even if the lake is covered under a lot of snow) from every room. The location is great for day trips to many different areas of the state and surrounding states. The house is well equipped and furnished and the owner is a wonderful lady and very helpful. We hope to be back sometime this year and to see all of this in the summer or fall. We certainly would recommend this house to any of our friends who would like to visit New Hampshire.

A Great Vacation Spot

My husband and I rented this property to do some skiing and just enjoy winter in the Lakes Region. The pictures on the website actually don't do this home justice; it was even better than we expected. It is a well cared for, clean and fully appointed home that is cozy and so comfortable. A great fireplace and a deck that can be enjoyed even in the winter; great views from every room. We would enthusiastically refer this to any of our friends.

Fishing and relaxing

This is a wonderful location with excellent accomodations and incredible views. It is a true vacation home with all modern conveniences and appliances, including a large screen TV with cable!. It was clean and attractive and had a beautiful deck off the living room that was literally on the lake. We caught bass, trout and catfish right from the deck and then walked a few feet into the kichen to clean and freeze them. All rooms had views of the lake which created a wonderful atmosphere. One week was not enough so we are hoping to book two weeks in 2009.

A fabulous vacation spot. The house is lovely and comfortable with all modern conveniences. Most special is being right on the lake with gorgeous views from every room. Loved waking up to the sights & sounds of the water and the hummingbirds. Highly recommended.

A wonderful spot for a vacation! The house is clean and comfortable. There is a terrific view of the lake and the mountains from the deck and the living room.

This lakehouse has just been redone top to bottom. Its a terrific spot and the lake views are outstanding. There is also a new dock very suitable for a 20 foot boat. Highly recommended...
