This home is a beauty! It features a wonderful lawn in both front and back yards. A private dock that will accommodate both a pontoon boat and a ski boat (at the same time) is located on the property. The dock has stairs leading up to a nice seating area overlooking the lake. Along the edge of the lake a concrete ledge has been built and it is perfect for sitting in the sun.
The lake side of the home has a very large covered patio with chairs and tables. We have also provided a gas grill for your use.
The home is fully furnished including kitchen utensils and linens. Upstairs there is a game room (complete with pool table & tabletop shuffleboard), a utility room, 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. The first and second bedrooms have 1 queen bed each and a view of the lake. The third bedroom also has an incredible view of the lake and sleeps 4 in 2 full sized beds. A whirlpool tub is in the bathroom connected to this bedroom. Adjacent to the third bedroom is a small bedroom with twin bunk beds - perfect for parents who want their children nearby. The downstairs portion of the home houses the living room, kitchen, dining room, 1 bath and a bunk room. The bunk room sleeps 14 - 2 in a full sized bed, 12 in 4 full/twin bunk beds. It is a spacious room and has its own entrance from the back yard.
A 2-bedroom/1 bath cottage is also located on the property and is available for an additional fee. The main house sleeps 24 in beds. The queen sleeper sofa will sleep two. The two bedroom cottage sleeps a total of six.
It is a lovely, peaceful home - only minutes away from Schlitterbahn, Gruene, Sea World, Riverwalk, San Marcos Outlet Mall.
Parking is available for 8-10 cars.
Our guests have access to Lake McQueeney Racquet Club. This is a brand new facility with loads of amenities. The property has 1 professionally lighted indoor tennis court, 2 racquetball courts, a steam sauna, a far infrared sauna, a weight/cardio room, separate men's and women's dressing rooms with showers and lockers. There are viewing areas for the racquetball courts and for the tennis court. Outside we have 3 tennis courts, two of which are lighted courts. Hours of operation and procedures for reserving courts, etc. will be posted as the opening date approaches.

My extended family is growning very large. We can't all fit in each other's homes any longer for Christmas! This place was perfect for us! We each had our own bed (luckily we didn't mind sharing a room with each other). We all had something to do, whether it was visit, playing pool, shuffle board, or ping pong. My husband brought his rod and reel but didn't catch anything. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The kitchen was small, but most of us brought food prepared and just heated it up in the oven. The owner answered all my questions by email promptly, and I received my deposit back in the mail before I even missed it. Central location for my family...everyone had to travel, but not far. The stairs were too hard for one of family members to climb, but the extra cottage in the front was perfect for her.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

This place was absolutely amazing. Lots of room, very good layout, perfectly clean and the deck on the river was awesome. Our entire family came and we have never enjoyed a vacation this much. Ping Pong table and pool table provided great entertainment. All our dealings with the owner was very pleasant. We received our full deposit back in exactly two weeks. I would highly recommend this for your vacation. We plan to come back. The digital display on the microwave was difficult to read so we did burn something but everything else worked perfectly. There was a canoe there but there was a seat missing.
