You will enjoy staying in this smaller complex directly on the beach. Experience the incredible views and luxury of this condominium where all units overlook the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!
You will enjoy taking advantage of the complimentary beach service during your stay at Blue Dolphin. The umbrella is really nice when you want to spend the entire day at the beach.
The kitchen in our condo is fully equipped so if you want to prepare all of your meals during your stay you may. It is very convenient to run up to the condo for a quick lunch before heading back to the beach.
When you dine out on Okaloosa Island, make sure to visit Old Bay Steamer. They offer steamed seafood by the bucket full, lobster tails, snow crab, king crab & shrimp are the contents of one of their buckets for two. Prepare to get messy enjoying your meal, they often tie bibs around their patrons’ necks. They also offer pasta & steaks for the non-seafood lovers. We always make a point to visit here at least once during our stays in Ft. Walton Beach.
The original Fudpuckers Bar & Grill is also located on Okaloosa Island. Fudpuckers opened in Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island in 1986 and has become a favorite for visitors & locals alike. The younger ones in your group will enjoy the playground & everyone will enjoy the live music. It's a great gathering place for friends & family late in the day to unwind from a busy day of vacationing.
The best pizza on the Island comes from Helen Back. You can pick up their pizza to go or enjoy the back patio on the water.

While visiting Ft. Walton here are a few things that we enjoy doing...
We enjoy going to the fishing pier on Okaloosa Island, you can actually catch a 100 pounder here. The pier is 1262 feet long & has an octagon at the end so there is room for everyone to fish. I enjoy just tagging along watching the dolphins & wonderful sunsets.
The Boardwalk is home to many clubs & great restaurants. The beach is really great here & we enjoy an occasion game of volleyball there with the locals & guests to our area.
The Gulfarium is a great way to spend part of your day. The dolphin shows are almost continuous & you can also visit all sorts of marine life such as seals, sea lions, sharks, alligators, penguins and more.
If you need to do some shopping during your stay Santa Rosa Mall is just a few miles away in Mary Esther. They have The Gap, American Eagle, Bath & Body Works and many more. At the center of the mall is a carousel that the kids will love. Behind the mall is Fast track go carts, it has an indoor track so it is nice to escape the sun or maybe the cold too!
Try parasailing during your stay, it is a truly exhilarating experience. Sun Dogs parasailing on the Island offers parasailing.
If you decide to escape Okaloosa Island.. Destin, Florida is only a few miles away.
Visit the Destin Commons outdoor mall, Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, Books-A-Million & Maui Nix Surf Shop to rattle off a few. Stop for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Café, Panera Bread, Tony’s Ristorante or Sushi Siam. More than just shopping the Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Community activities and entertainment are held through the year at Destin Commons . Rave Motion Pictures is also housed at Destin Commons to catch the latest releases.
Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resorts offers wonderful dining and specialty stores as well as great festivals & events that are held at the Market Shops Green or the Center Plaza within the Village.
The Track Amusement Center in Destin, Florida offers mini golf, Water Bumper Boats, go-carts & for those not faint of heart, Bungee Jumping.
Big Kahuna’s Water Park is a favorite for young & old alike. Take a break from the wonderful Destin, Florida beach & spend the day here.
Destin, Florida is known as the ”World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” & boasts being home to the largest fishing vessel fleet in the state of Florida. You can fish from the beach or boat. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursions. Water surrounds Destin with the intercoastal waterway to the north and Gulf on the south, creating an abundance of water sports available, including kayaking, wave running, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling and so much more!
