house has four bedrooms and can sleep twelve -
perfect for two families to make an escape for a
long weekend summer retreat from the heat or a
winter escape to the slopes. Carnelian Bay has easy
access to all the North Lake Tahoe Ski Resorts:
Squaw, Northstar, Alpine Meadows. Nearby are
great restaurants such as Gar Woods Grill and Pier
where you can watch the sunset and ponder the next day’s
activities. The house backs up to The Tahoe National
Forest for complete privacy,and has a hot tub to
soak away all the aches after the day’s adventures.

We are one of the best located homes you will find in North Lake Tahoe,Carnelian Bay. Located between Kings Beach and Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Easy access from either Highway 267 or 89. Our beautiful home is a newer construction (1999). The house is spacious, bright and cozy with filtered views of the lake from the master bedroom and second bedroom located upstairs. Newly interior painted and decorated,Wi-Fi internet access, and a new outdoor hot tub under our retractable Gazebo for your enjoyment.
For all you NFL football fans, we have the NFL Sunday Ticket with DirectTV just for your added pleasure during football season!! Our 4 bedroom, non-smoking, two and a half bath backs up to The Tahoe National Forest with hiking and snowshoeing and cross country trails right out the back door. Just a short walk across from the house at the lake is one of Tahoe's best known restaurant "Gar Woods", and also beautiful Patton Beach, with open panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. This beach allows dogs!. Beach has public pier and restrooms. The Magic Carpet Miniature Golf Course(not open in winter months), is just around the bend for everyone to enjoy, especially fun for your kids! CB's Pizza Restaurant,and 7-Eleven is kitty corner to our house.The Old Post Office Cafe, which is very popular for breakfast and lunches is just a short 5 minutes walk from the home just beyond the Miniature Golf Course.

Our house has a good size living room, hard wood floors, with cozy gas fireplace that warms the entire house, and a 42" flat screen T.V with upgraded movie channels, home theater system and the NFL Sunday Ticket with Direct TV for our football fans. The kitchen has all the modern appliances needed for your culinary needs, and our gas grill is just outside the back patio for your BBQ needs.

We know you will love the bright and open feel of the house with panoramic views from upstairs, to our backyard serene forest setting, and best of all the location of our beautiful home is near to everything one wants to enjoy in North Lake Tahoe in Winter ,Spring, Summer or Fall!!!.

This pet friendly home is on a flat lot with lots of parking for cars ,RV's, boats and toys. Just minutes to Brockway Golf Course, five miles to North Shore Casinos, five miles to Tahoe City, about 8 miles to Incline Village, and 10 to 15 miles to all North Lake Tahoe ski resorts: Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood, Diamond Peak .Heavenly Ski Resort and Suger Bowl Ski Resort is about 30-36 miles from the house.

  • This is a lovely family home that has all the comforts to arrive and relax. A great location, plenty of space, all the kitchen supplies needed to make anything you want, and a cozy atmosphere. The hot tub was a big hit, and my dog loved being able to go for multiple swims at the dog friendly beach across the street. We had a great time in Carnelian Bay, thank you.

  • What a great place. Got to hang with two other families and there was room for everyone. Terrific beach within walking distance, safe for the kids to splash around and the dog to frolic. The house had everything! The kitchen was stocked with tons of pots/pans/spices/appliances to make each and every meal painless, very comfortable beds and lots of space to play. Can't wait to go back again.

  • Back Again! Over Fathers Day weekend 2009. The Wooden Boat Show was in town. Great! weekend. The Blue Jay Lodge is warm and cozy! The Hot tub wonderful, and the location even better!   • Had a party of 12. We skiied at Alpine Meadows and the house was great. Comfortable rooms (loved the dinosaur room!), great kitchen, but the hot tub was the best. It's near the woods and it felt pretty magical after a night of skiing. The living room was also well-used. There were games available and enjoyed it. Overall, a really pretty area. Enjoyed our stay.   • This beautiful home was ideal for a holiday celebration with 12 family members. The location was close to ski resorts(North Star being our favorite), lake access and stores to pick up groceries. The amenities offered included state of the art computer/TV and sound systems, plenty of living space and a fully equipped kitchen. The forest behind the house and street in front provided many hours of fun sledding (equipment provided w/the home). I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet neighborhood and space for entertaining.

  • Prior to renting this beautiful home, I received generous support by the owner with the details needed for a Christmas holiday with 12 family members. The location was perfect-right across the street from the beach in Carnelian Bay with ready access to groceries etc. This home provided ample living space with all the amenities for snow fun... I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a quiet location with closee access to ski resorts and casinos.

  • This is a great vacation home with lots of space. We stayed there with our 2 kids, and two other families. It didn't feel cramped at all. It is in a perfect location, with essentials within walking distance (7-11, breakfast place, pizza, Garwoods, etc.). We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. With the hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, and wireless, it's hard to get motivated to enjoy the outdoors!

  • This place is amazing. The location is perfect and the home is so comfortable it's hard to leave to enjoy the beauty outside. But once you do, there's so much to offer: oh my do my kids love CB's and 7-11 and everyone has to love Garwoods. I haven't tried the hot tub yet, but I will be back for that!

  • Great Place! Warm, cozy, perfect location! We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend 2008. No snow, we still had a wonderful time. We went for several long walks in the wooded area which is just out the door. After our walks, A long soak in the Hot tub was Great. The beach is just a 3 minute walk. We will be back! The pictures do not tell the whole story, this places is so wonderful, if you are looking to stay in Tahoe we give this place TWO Thumbs up.
