You will enjoy this ground floor unit, it's only steps away from the boardwalk that takes you to the beach. When you are not enjoying the two beachside pools take advantage of the complimentary beach service that accompanies this unit during season.
Water's Edge has a fitness room with cardio equipment & universal machines so you will not have to worry about missing your daily workout. Sidewalks also line Santa Rosa Blvd if you would like to take a run on a solid surface.
Our Water's Edge unit has a fully equipped kitchen to provide all of your meals in. If you do decide to dine out, you will have several choices to choose from.
Old Bay Steamer is our favorite. They specialize in steamed seafood by the bucket full. Pasta & steaks are also offered on the menu.
* The original Fudpuckers Bar & Grill is located on the Island. Since 1986, it has been a favorite for visitors & locals alike. The younger ones will enjoy the playground & everyone will enjoy the live music.
* For the best pizza on the island over to Helen Back. For dining in, choose the back patio with a view of the sound.
*Los Panchos Mexican Restaurant is beside Helen Back on Amberjack Drive. They offer take out too for those long days on the beach
* Pandora’s Steakhouse offers steak, seafood & prime rib with a Wine Spectator award winning wine list.

Some other things to do in Ft. Walton Beach besides enjoying the great beach...
For a touch of education visit The Air Force Armament Museum. It is the only facility in the world dedicated to the collection, preservation and exhibition of the memorabilia associated with Air Force Armament. The museum is an absolute hit with the kids, they love it.
Try your hand at catching a 100 lb fish at the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier. The pier is 1262 ft long and has an octagon at the end so everyone has room to fish. If you are not in to fishing you can enjoy wonderful sunsets at the pier and also get a chance to see dolphins. If you didn't bring your rod & reel, don't worry, you may rent one there.
Main Street in Ft. Walton Beach offers unique shopping and dining along the main strip of Ft. Walton. You will find Coca-Cola memorabilia, adorable children’s clothes, souvenirs to take back home and more. Check out the bistro on the corner, their food is wonderful.
Visit the Gulfarium and visit all sorts of marine life such as seals, sea lions, sharks, alligators, penguins and more. They have almost continuous dolphin shows throughout the day.
If you decide to venture away from Ft. Walton visit Destin, Florida, it's only a few miles away.
Visit the Silver Sands Outlet Mall & shop, shop,shop. A vacation in it’s own right for shoppers you will have access to over 100 stores. Cheeseburger in Paradise is great for lunch & Carrabba's Italian Grill will fit the bill for dinner.
The Destin Commons has great stores such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, Books-A-Million & Maui Nix Surf Shop to list a few. Dine at the Hard Rock Café, Tony’s Ristorante or Sushi Siam. The Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Community activities and entertainment are held throughout the year at Destin Commons. You can also catch the latest releases at Rave Motion Pictures.
Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resorts offers wonderful dining and specialty stores as well as great festivals & events that are held at the Market Shops Green or the Center Plaza within the Village.
Big Kahuna’s Water Park offers water slides, fun fountains, lazy & not so lazy river rides and their newest attraction, Honolulu Half Pipe. This new attraction combines the best of surfing, body boarding & surf boarding. Take a break from the beach & spend the day here.
