We had 4 couples stay with the hope of beach and golf time. The weather did not cooperate but the house was big enough that we all had some space and just had a great time. We did manage to get to some of our favorite spots and enjoy the great food and wine but still had a number of meals at home. We'll look to do this again HERE in the future!!!

We, a group of friends, really enjoyed staying in this house. We have our own nice houses in bay area and were worried if this rental house could meet our relaxation expectation. All of us were very satisfied with the beauty of this house and its excellent location - very close to the beach and with nice beach view from living room and master bedroom. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom which is extremely convenient for friends getting together. And Teresa, the owner of the house, was very flexible, easy to work with, and friendly. I don't think my husband & I can visit Bodega Bay again unless we can rent this home! We had such a wonderful trip with friends & family celebrating my 50th birthday. This home has a beautiful design and is well appointed. Everyone was comfortable and the location could not be beat! This was the first time we have rented a home and felt that we didn't have to down grade from where we live. We highly recommend this home to anyone who needs the extra space. We plan on renting this home again and again!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home! We (4 couples) had a very relaxing time and the house lends itself well to this, especially with the 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms! The weather was fantastic and the views were the same. Every sunset was a renewed experience. We loved the spacious and well planned out kitchen with all its amenities. We rented the house for an October weekend and had a hard time leaving. It felt like it was built just for us and we were proud to invite friends to enjoy it as well. We rent in the area often and this is the best house we have ever had. Great, great, great floor plan and the view and short walk to the sand is phenominal. Also the best stocked kitchen we have ever had. Fortunately the weather was devine but we would have been just as comfortable staying in. I should shut my pie hole now as I probably made future reservations more difficult. Teresa is so willing to accomodate and I can't thank her enough for helping us with a last minute booking. Spent a nice and relaxing weekend at the house- perfect for 2-3 couples or family with kids - great location - walk to the beach or golf clubhouse for dinner. Really enjoyed the golf course also. The house was very clean and in excellent condition - with everything you need for cooking and relaxing. The cozy fireplace was perfect on the chilly mornings and evenings. Teresa (the owner) was very friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely go back again in the future.

Wonderful vacation home

What a great place for a couples get away vacation. The house was clean, comfortable and equipped with all the essentials, we wanted for nothing. The ocean was a short walk away and the views from the house were amazing. Teresa was kind enough to reserve tee times for our group with a discounted rate and the golf course was beautiful. This was a first time experience renting a home and Teresa made it easy and trouble free. This is a perfect home for a weekend or vacation stay.

Family Fun for First-Time Bodega Bay Vacationers

We stayed here for 3 nights total over a weekend in July. In total, we had 6 adults and 2 toddlers. The location was ideal to walk to the beach, where the sand was extremely clean but the water pretty cold so no swimming. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the wrap around patio area that was conveniently situated right outside the living room and kitchen so that we could keep an eye on them while they played outside. We appreciated 1 downstairs room that was a bit separated from the rest of the home because we have 1 child who is a light sleeper so we could make some comfortable noise. The kitchen was well-equipped with spices, oil, coffee, flour, sugar and almost every cooking gadget you'd need, and we took advantage of this since we love to cook. We took off 1 star because our standard for cleanliness for a place might be high, but we felt that the floors were a bit grimy and sandy to walk on (and there is a request for shoes off which is understandable in a sandy community). Also, the refrigerator seemed to leak some water; after the fridge was left untouched for several hours, you'd open it and about 1 cup of water would be underfoot so we were constantly wiping up the area. The hot tub was an added bonus since we didn't expect it to be ready to use and nicely warmed. One of the best features was the open, airy living space, very sunny and inviting. The architecture was quite unique for a contemporary home. Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed the vacation and were so relaxed. Thank you!

We are returning guests at this house. We liked the house so much the first time that we came back again! Enjoyed the house thoroughly. It is a well ventilated and a very cozy home with easy access to the beach. It not only has beautiful views but also has four spacious bedrooms. The kitchen is nice and big with beautiful views as well. We were a party of 8 adults and 4 kids and enjoyed this fantastic home even more than before. We are so happy..we will come back again for sure!

This house was truly perfect. It was so well equipped in the kitchen that we wanted for nothing. We did lots of cooking and it was great fun to have everyone around us. There was plenty of everything, towels, soap, paper towels etc. I know you won't be disappointed.

I've stayed in many places in Bodega Bay over the years, and this is one of the best. The inside was recently renovated - really gorgeous, beautiful furniture, appliances, kitchenware, decor, uncluttered, etc. Quite exquisite. Teresa was very easy to deal with, friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well stocked - there was even coffee for us, in case we forgot! The outdoor shower was really convenient for hosing off before going into the house.

I recently rented this beautifully modern and maintained home for a long weekend with my brother and 2 buddies as a getaway before my brother's big wedding in Peru. Teresa was incredibly flexible and so helpful during the rental process, and graciously provided goodies like wine, bread and coffee during our stay. When we arrived, we were wide-eyed and excited at the accommodations. The view from the deck is spectacular, furnishings are very comfortable, wide-screen TV is perfect for movies & sports, and the 4 individual bedroom suites are perfectly designed. The kitchen was my haven for the weekend, where I whipped up breakfasts and dinners, and the outdoor gas BBQ allowed me to grill fabulous Marin Farms steaks and Hog Island oysters. It was an unforgettable weekend, and the 5 minute walk to the beach was the perfect way to start each day. This is a house meant to be enjoyed. You can feel the love and care the owners put into it as soon as you walk in the front door. I highly recommend this property for a true escape. I look forward to returning next year..and trying the hot tub which we eyed all weekend!

Seven adults recently stayed for our annual wine country tasting trip. We were a little further away from the vineyards, but really enjoyed our stay. We walked on the beach in the morning, toured Sonoma vineyards and relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day. The house is well maintained and the hosts even provided fresh flowers and coffee for our arrival. The kitchen was well stocked and our friends enjoyed being chefs in the evening. I would recommend this wonderful location and may return in the future.

The house is absolutely gorgeous! with meticulous decor and top of the line amenities. A delicious blend of comfort and beauty. It was immaculate and easy to keep that way; the customer service was excellent. We were fortunate to spend our honeymoon in this beautiful home; we found it very romantic and peaceful for the two of us, though the house would most definitely accomodate a much larger party in style and comfort. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked. The jacuzzi in the master bath with the ocean view and fireplace is extremely romantic; and the hot tub in the back is private and delightful on a cold night. The balcony offers great ocean and beach views as do all the windows along the front of the house. The beach is a short walk away and the local fresh seafood delicious! This is a perfect retreat for many various types of get-aways and we would highly recommend it.

The other reviews of the house are very accurate and the owners were very professional and accommodating to our needs. I would like to add that the house and location was surprisingly child friendly, considering it sits on a golf course. The beach & playground is just a short walk away. A longer walk had the kids discovering a "secret cave" that led to tide pools loaded with starfish, small crabs in the rocks and sea anemone. The type-a parents in our group were satisfied that the wireless internet was reliable and fast. The house had some great technological features, and the owners did a fantastic job of providing just the perfect amount of information to be able to get up and over the learning curve very quickly. Everyone had a wonderful time.

We were a party of 8 adults with 3 infants. We stayed in this beautiful rental house for the 4th of July weekend for 2 nights and really had lots of fun and so did the kids running around. It is a great house with all the amenities and beautiful views; especially from the master bedroom. The rental house is spacious, well ventilated, very welcoming and one will definately feel at home. The house has very easy access to the beach which is just 5 minutes away. We had lots of fun cooking, chatting, drinking and playing in this lovely house. I would definately visit back and recommend everyone to spend their vacation in this lovely house.

My family and I had a wonderful time at 833 Gull Drive. The house is beautifully decortaed and has nearly panoramic views of the ocean from the living room. We were able to sleep all four couples comfortably as each of us had our own bahroom. We are so happy we decided to stay at this special place.

We recently rented this house for a small family reunion and it exceeded our expectations, which were already high after reviewing the prpoerty on-line. We cannot imagine a more accommodating residence for gatherings of multiple families. The design of the home provides up to four couples with a private bedroom and bath, while the common areas are spacious and well-appointed, providing for a comfortable setting in which to socialize. The view of the bay from the balcony would have been wonderful by itself, but is improved upon dramatically by a short walk to the beach. Teresa has spared no effort to make this property a real home and guests will benefit from her attention to every detail.

We stayed in this property over Memorial Weekend 2009 with our young children, another couple and their child. The home was perfect! We walked to the beach, the guys played golf and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen or on the gas grill outside. The home was beautiful without feeling like a museum. We all relaxed and felt very comfortable. If you're visiting, be sure to check out Freestone Vineyards and the bakery across the street from the winery. Not to be missed. An absolutely perfect weekend with good friends in a wonderful setting!

The house was grand. We had 4 couples stay, each with their own bedroom and attached bathroom. Though everyone was jealous of the master bedroom... with it's fireplace in the bedroom and above the jacuzzi! There was a clear view of the ocean, and it was even better just to walk down to the beach which took about 8 minutes down the hill. You could hear the waves and feel the splash of sea breeze from the deck. We had a couple chefs with us, and the kitchen served their purposes well. The living room and large dining table were perfect for everyone to sit around drinking wine and playing games, with the fireplace roaring in the background. Overall, a gorgeous house with all of the amenities. My deposit came back very fast, and it was easy to deal with the owners. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to getaway with family or friends. Everyone was shocked at how incredible the house was- and I got kudos all around. And at the end of the long weekend when we were all tired of chatting, we just turned on the HUGE screen tv in the living room and watched cable. Fun!

This house has an exquisite view of the ocean and beach from the great room and balcony. Well furnished throughout, comfortable and inviting. The master bedroom suite is to die for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit!
