Very laid back but with activities in which you can become as involved as you choose to be. Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach are across the river in Florida for easy ferry or driving access, but privacy and relaxation are in St. Marys. Two bikes are available for cruising the charming old town also.
Great restaurants and comfortable bars are nice to walk to and offer a wide variety of cuisine and budget interests. Dress is casual everywhere. Be the "stress-free" you. Live your sweet dreams for a long weekend, week or month in quiet and peaceful St. Marys.
