This spectacular vacation compound on Lake Travis is ideal for groups of families, friends or business associates. The compound consists of two adjacent properties, Moriah and Farr Side, which have houses approximately 50 yards apart.

The first property, Moriah, offers a huge timber-frame building for central living, dining and a gourmet kitchen designed for multiple cooks while two authentic 1850's log cabins provide four private bedrooms. Each of the three historic buildings which make up Moriah have a porch with a lake view.

Moriah has been meticulously restored into a private retreat in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Moriah has been featured in the Austin American Statesman, Country Home Magazine and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.


The second property, Farr Side, consists of two large buildings. One has three bedrooms, a sleeping loft, two full bathrooms, a living area, a large kitchen and sleeps twelve. A huge, inviting porch offers a view of the lake. The second building consists of two very large bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a massive living area complete with a pool table, game table and a sitting area with satellite television. A second porch offers a sitting area and ping pong table.

Both Moriah and Farr Side have a private dock and stunning views of the lake, combined they have 500 feet of private waterfront. A gentle slope leads to the water, only 240 feet from the houses.

Together, the two properties sit on seven secluded acres in the Texas Hill Country on Lake Travis located only eight miles from Marble Falls.

    • I recently organized my third trip here with a group of 12 friends. We love to cook together in the big kitchen, play volleyball and sit around the fire pit at night. The amenities are top notch and the layout of the cabins provides privacy within the group setting. Plus -- awesome, comfortable beds! It has always been the perfect getaway for us.

    • We have had our family reunion at Moriah for the last two years and would not consider going anywhere else. The cabins are ideally situated for napping babies and tired parents while the teenagers can stay up in the loft. The kitchen is completely furnished and accommodates multiple cooks. Even the bed linens are luxurious (my sister bought the same kind for her home!). Rock on the porch or fish off the dock....Moriah is excellent for visiting and relaxing together...KMaddoux Burleson, Tx

    • We have hosted our annual leadership retreat at Moriah on five different occasions. The accommodations are perfect and the scenery is beautiful! There is not a better place to relax on Lake Travis. We will be back next year.
