This luxurious new home with five large bedrooms, and a private carriage unit, is an elegantly designed beach home just a short walk from the dunes and located in the lovely gated community of Watersound Beach. This beautiful private house in WaterSound, a part of the Beaches of South Walton, has just been completed and fully decorated by a professional decorator. The furnishings and art work are lovely and include slip covered sofas in the great room.
With five bedrooms, five and a half baths, enormous great room and soaring ceilings, you’ll be living in the lap of luxury. In the carriage house, there is an additional queen bed that adds an additional sixth bedroom.
Most of the bedrooms open to decks with breath taking views. The bedrooms are furnished with high thread count cotton sheets and comforters. All except the bunk room have private baths with granite vanities and glass tiles. The master bath features a walk in shower with a rain head.
The great room has soaring ceilings with beautiful crown molding and is perfect for entertaining and joins the large kitchen area with an over-sized island. A 50" flat-screen TV is above the fireplace with surround sound and speakers located throughout the house, including the decks. There is a DVD and CD player for your complete entertainment pleasure.
The fully stocked kitchen features a gas range, Dacor oven, ice maker, stainless refrigerator, microwave and separate wine cooler. The kitchen also opens to the deck and heated pool (22 x 12) and hot tub. The community pool is available, as well. There are six separate decks available through french doors for your relaxing enjoyment.
A large dining room and table seating 10 compliment the great room and large kitchen area for your dining needs. The area also includes a serving and storage area. The dining room and kitchen are sure to please the most expert of cooks and also includes a casual dining area at the island.
Above the covered parking is a carriage house with kitchen, TV, DVD, and a queen size bed. The carriage house has a deck that overlooks the pool.
It’s a short walk to the beach access. The bridges, lakes & longleaf pines add to the outdoor appeal. Stereo in great room with surround sound speakers. Decks and tower have speakers. NICE BIG HOUSE BUT NEEDS A BATH

Nice home in a great neighborhood. We arrived on 8/20/11 and found a bottle of KY Jelly underneath one of the beds upstairs (nice nasty surprise) and the home was in need of a bath. One of the kitchen sinks was inoperable and the TVs didnt work part of our stay. We tried to contact the owners on numerous occassions with ZERO succeess. The home is currently in short sale status so its understandable why the owners dont really care to keep the property in tip top condition.If we had been treated a little better on the communication front we would be more inclined to come back for another stay. Overall a nice house if its a bunch of younger couples looking to have a party.
Recommended for:Sightseeing.

The home is beautiful and very well decorated. It has a big spacious kitchen and living area. We loved the porch and pool area! It is a short walk to the beach. The house could use a good cleaning. There are definite signs that it is rented a lot. I understand that it's difficult to give the house a thorough cleaning when check-out is 10:00AM on Saturday and check-in is 4:00PM on the same day; however we found a pair of panties left under the sink in our bathroom (which we left there because I wasn't touching them). It might be nice to take a week to have a deep thorough cleaning of the entire house (especially the couch in the living area) and to replace all of the lightbulbs that have burned out. There are TONS of pillows in this house. You will not be longing for a pillow! However, there weren't any pillow cases to put on them nor were there any extra blankets. It would have been nice to have a few extra blankets (even lap blankets) while sitting on the couch or for the carriage house (the light sheet and thin blanket left me a bit chilled at night). We also loved the beach and pool toys. Our kids used those a lot! Over all we had a nice time.

Home is well built and spacious- kitchen huge! Needs some care and some deep cleaning. Has obvious signs of being rented alot. Location is good and walk to the beach is short.

Our extended family, children, spouses and grandchildren just returned from a week-long stay at this beautiful home in early June. Every ammenity possible is provided and the home is tastefully decorated, with soothing colors and spacious rooms. It is clean, and the photos on line do not do it justice. The covered porch at the home's pool was used extensively, as well as the grill and enormous chef's kitchen. We found ourselves excited about preparing meals each evening - remincisent of scenes from "The Big Chill." This was our second stay at this particular home and we will definitely be back in 2011 for another enjoyable experience. One of the true gems of the neighborhood and the Gulf.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
