Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Mariner
I began going to Hilton Head Island with my young family in 1966. We quickly settled on Palmetto Dunes with its great beaches, and golf courses. In 1973, I completed "Happy Times House" which I had designed and was built by Robert Graves. I chose 22 Haul Away to build on since it located across the street from the 18th tee box on the Robert Trent Jones golf course (the only one open at that time); backed up to the lagoon; and a short, safe walk to the ocean.
Happy Times proved the test of time. My four children and four grand children love Happy Times. We hope that you and your family will enjoy it too.
The Unique Benefits at this House
At Happy Times, you will be on a quiet cul-de-sac street but close to everyting - Robert Trent Jones Club House is about 600 yards away; the Tennis Center about 700 yards and the Ocean about the same distance.
Our section of the beautiful beach is on the North end of Palmetto Dunes an about a 1/2 mile from the hotel -- so you won't be bothered by lots of people.

I live in Peachtree City with my wife Anna and have four grown children - Cathy (two grandchildren, Garrett and Lena); Mike (two grandchildren, Caroline and Michael);Adam 30; Lyla 28 now an Art Major at Tennessee Tech.
Anna and I moved from Puerto Rico to Atlanta in 1989 and in 1990 I started a Print Broker business that evolved into a Magazine and Directory Publishing Business. Mike, my oldest son, joined us in that business in 1990 and is GM of the company, and Anna is the bookkeeper.

Mike and I belong to the Rotary Club of Peachtree City and Anna is an In Line Marathon Skater. Anna and I attend Grace Evangelical Church and Mike and his wife Susan belong to the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Cathy, my oldest, is a teachers aid working with Special Needs Children and lives on a horse farm in north Georgia. Adam, youngest son, "put a bookend on his 20's by Hiking the Appalachian Trail from North Georgia to Mt Katahdin Maine - he began on March 17th and finished on September 30th,and Lyla is getting her Fine Arts Degree in Glass Blowing from Tennessee Tech U.
