Only one and a half hours north of the airport at Los Cabos and 20 minutes north of Los Barriles lies your own private beach front getaway, Casa Ventanas del Mar (Windows to the Sea) in the rural town of El Cardonal. Here is your perfect opportunity to get close to nature, to have a vacation that invigorates and restores, that satisfies your need for both adventure and relaxation. The 25 yard lap pool can cool you down or give you a good workout. Kayak out on the glassy sea as the sun rises, waiting for the passing dolphins or whales. Paddle back to the reef and snorkel over and through this real-life aquarium. Pulling your kayaks onto the beach in front of your house, you head for the kitchen to prepare yourself a nice late-morning breakfast.
A local panga will pick you up off your beach and take you out into deeper water for billfish or along the shoreline for Sierra and Roosterfish. Either way, assuring you of fresh fish for dinner. Or have the captain whisk you and your party over to the Giggling Marlin restaurant where you pull up onto the beach and they will cook your catch, or a traditional Mexican meal while you sit under the palapa with your margaritas. That evening you can finish off your day floating on your back in the pool and marveling at how the Milky Way is so bright it seems like you could reach up and touch the stars.
There are also opportunities for excursions to Todo Santos or Pa Paz (both 2 hours north, by car)for shopping and sightseeing, or to Los Barriles for a great dinner at one of our local restaurants.
