Surround sound throughout the house, remote control drapery and storm shutters, and custom lighting are just a few of the elements of style and convenience used here to make this home unique. Featured in the May 2004 edition of Home magazine.
The downstairs master bedroom has a tranquil view of the lap pool (pool not heated) and fountain just outside the "wall of windows." Located just across the street from the Eastern Green and beach access.

Our family (3 kids ages 2, 6 and 8) and 82 yr old Grandma, had a great time in this house. The location is fantastic (kitty corner to Coquina pool and around the corner from the Eastern Green) the patio/lawn/pool area is wonderful and the open floorplan is great. PROS: The kids adored the upstairs bunks with the individual tvs. The open kitchen and large dining table were great. The kitchen was well stocked -- the coffee and green tea were a nice touch. Perhaps the best feature was the shaded lap-pool which provided a refreshing respite from the midday heat at the beach/town pools. CONS: You could hear a pin drop from anywhere in the house, which made naptime and staggered bedtimes very difficult. The bathrooms were overdesigned and not terribly functional (no mirrors!), water pressure in the downstairs bath was a trickle, and faucets spewed water all over countertops. The living area was not at all cozy and was showing some wear and tear. The upstairs was very dark - more lighting would have been helpful. This was great during the baby's naptime but depressing otherwise. Its a little pricier than most properties this size, but the good-sized shaded pool and lawn area make up for the smaller interior space. All told, we had a great time and would definitely consider a return once we no longer have a napper!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our family of five spent Mother's Day weekend in this fabulous house and wished we could have stayed the entire week. It looked exactly like the pictures- was just beautiful. The pool was great. We never even made it to the big pool. The only disappointment was the bathrooms. While they looked incredible, the sinks and faucets simply were not practical. We also found it necessary to flush the commodes at least twice any time they were used. All and all a slight irritation in the big scheme of things. The living area was extremely comfortable. Although we used the kitchen only slightly, it was great too. The kids LOVED the bunks. The location cannot be beat. It is literally steps from one of the large pools and just a short walk from the pool. We didn't even need bikes. Would recommend it in a heartbeat and would definitely stay here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3
