They have the view and I guess that's what we wanted, but the beds were old and uncomfortable, the linens from a thrift store. There was no hand soap or shampoo which the least expensive motels have. The hammock was rusted and broken. The WiFi didn't work and I called about it but it still wouldn't work. The windows and floors were dirty. There was no dish soap but , yes, plenty of laundry soap for the guests washing of the sheets. We were flying at 7am,so my sister and 82 year old mom washed the sheets and towels. We didn't have time to make the beds too that morning so we forfeited some deposit. We left it a lot cleaner than we found it. Also the condo is not in Clearwater Beach; it's in Indian Shores.

Joe is such a great person to deal with! He was very friendly and informative! I am disappointed that I didn't get to actually meet him, due to us not arriving to very late! We enjoyed out stay at this rental, it was very clean and roomy! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need! We thought the area was great, not as busy as Clearwater and a great place for a family! Our kids enjoyed the beach right there! We would recommend this rental to anyone!!! Thanks so much Joe!

This property was exactly what we were looking for - on the beach, peaceful and relaxing, home away from home. Whether enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or margaritas at sunset, the deck was just as Joe described. And, if that's not enough, there was endless beach to walk; a free seabird sanctuary short walk south on the beach and great restaurants within a very short drive. Already trying to coordinate our next getaway to Joe's place!

Nice ocean front condo

We made last minute reservations to book Joe's condo for Spring Break. He met us at the condo and explained everything we needed to know. The condo was on a beautiful, uncrowded beach. It was a very relaxing week. Thanks Joe!

Just returned from a family vacation (2 college age kids, 1 HS aged child and father in law) and agree with a previous review stating that the pictures don't do it justice. The views from the deck are unobscured and amazing. The sunsets were spectacular. My husband and I walked a couple of miles on the beach every morning and were very pleased at how laid back and friendly everyone was. It is perfectly situated between St. Pete & Clearwater so you can easily head in either direction to find plenty to do. I highly recommend the little ice cream and sandwich shop (Kooky Coconuts) in Indian Rocks....their coconut ice cream was wonderful. If you enjoy birdwatching (shorebirds) and photography you'll love it here. I was able to take so many pictures of various gulls, terns, sanderlings, herons, dowitchers, and the ever entertaining brown pelicans. The great blue herons really are spectacular. If you have teenagers, John's Pass is a short drive south where you can find jet skiing, parasailing, fishing, dining and shopping all in one area. We didn't eat out that much because the kitchen really is stocked with what you need to cook in to save on cost. Looking to make this our annual family vacation. Counting the days in Ohio until we go back next year.....

Family Wedding stay

We had a wonderful time here with family members gathering from Texas, Pennsylvania, and Virginia for a family wedding. We all enjoyed the condo and had plenty of room. Enjoyed the huge balcony and beach. It did feel like home and the owner was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer and would not hestitate to come back. Parking is a little tricky. There were enough TV's to keep everyone happy. Only wished there was a DVD player to watch movies.. We went in November and the water was a bit chilly to swim.

wonderful condo

We were so happy with this condo. The view was beautiful, just steps to the water. We were fortunate enough to have a small wedding cermeony held here and couldn't have had a better location. The owner was wonderful! He was so helpful and kind. The condo was clean and the neighbors were helpful and very courteous to us. The owner answered any questions we had. We didn't go to any nearby activities while there, but the location appeared to be close to many things. The sunsets were spectacular!! We would definitely refer others to stay at this property and even hope to make it back there ourselves. Thank you!!!

Had a wonderful time - extremely relaxing. Owner greeted and made you feel at home. Right on beach and within minutes of restaurants. Turtles laid eggs while we were there right in front of condo. Deck overlooking ocean - dolphins in ocean within view of condo every morning. Great time - can't wait to come back!!

My Family and I just returned from a week at this beach house...the house was very clean and comfortable. The owner met us there and showed us around he is very friendly and helpful. The view from the deck/balcony is breath taking. Parking under the house is a little tricky but in no time we had the hang of it. Great location close to Johns Pass, Shopping, great food. Everyone in surrounding condo's were very friendly. I would rent this house again.

The minute we parked, we knew we had made the right decsion to rent this condo. Just walking up the stairs to the front door gives you a beautiful view of the beach you will be staying at! The condo was clean, smelt good and you will not be wanting for any creature comforts! It's all there! 31 feet of decking allows you to have tons of room to sit outside and enjoy the view of the beach and Gulf. And if you choose to sit inside (why?) you have two huge sliding doors that allow you to see it all. We had 7 adults and 2 toddlers stay for a long weekend and we did not feel crowded. The beach is litereally a 30 second walk and you are there. So no need to worry about dragging all your stuff down there. We had such a wonderful time and will not be looking to stay anywhere else. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay here....just not when we want to come back!

Perfect Vacation

This is a wonderful property and the perfect location for anything you need. Loved that the owner met us personally to show us all the amenities and gave us tips for restaurants, shopping and activities. Our favorite part of the condo was the large deck. The view was incredible and we spent countless hours sitting out there. The kids loved that we were right on the beach and they could head down the stairs and be there in a matter of seconds. I cooked a lot while we were there and the kitchen was great. Open concept and had all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. I needed. Would definitely recommend this place for families or a group of adults.

I would highly recommend this condo to anyone! The pictures don't do this one justice, it's beautiful and the closest to the beach I've ever been! The condo is clean, decorated beautifully and stocked with lots of extras. I have found not only paradise but the place I intend to stay from now on! Wait til you see the sunsets! I have stayed at the several times and each time it has been wonderful! The sunset views from the deck are amazing. You are 30 seconds for the beautiful quiet beach...not at all busy like the beach in Clearwater. The condo is great for a family vacation or quiet romantic weekend.
