Come and enjoy the beauty and relaxing environment that characterizes the mountains in and around Arnold, California. Enjoy this comfortable, relaxing, quiet and tastefully decorated house only one-half mile from the lovely, challenging Sequoia Woods Country Club.
GOLF
Golfers are within 2 minutes of the private, 18-hole, par 70, Bob Baldock-designed Sequoia Woods Country Club, a golf course suitable for players of all levels. For you BIG hitters, here is your chance (at least 6 of them) to make a hole-in-one on a par 4; for the average golfer, here is a chance to break 90, 80 or 70 (depending on your skill level) for the first time – but you have to hit the ball straight – particularly on the short back nine; for you families, the course and staff are very family-friendly, the teaching pros are excellent, and all encourage youth golf through golf summer camps for kids. Also, golfers are within 10 minutes from the 9-hole, par 36, public Meadowmont Golf Course, 15 minutes from the semi-private, 18-hole, par 60, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. –designed Forest Meadows golf course, 30 minutes from the championship, Robert Trent Jones II designed, 18-hole, par 72 Greenhorn Creek Golf Course & Resort and 50 minutes from the championship, 18-hole, par 72, Carter Morrish-designed Saddle Creek golf course.
HOUSE DESCRIPTION:
MASTER BEDROOM AND BATH
The master bedroom features a Queen Size bed with dual side tables & lamps, a large, 7-drawer, 1 door dresser with dressing mirror and a large, 2-sliding-door closet.
The master bath features a double-size stand up shower (sliding glass door), along with a 2-person wide single vanity that will make getting ready that much easier.
GUEST BEDROOM AND BATH HIGHLIGHTS
The first of two guest bedrooms features a Queen Size pillow-top bed with one side table & lamp, a 6-drawer dresser, a 2 sliding-door closet and a double window that looks out over trees to the valley that is the location of the Sequoia Woods Country Club.
The second of two guest bedrooms features 2 Single Size beds with one side table & lamp, a 6-drawer dresser, a 2 sliding-door closet and a double window that looks out onto the wooded rear yard.
Both guest bedrooms open onto the loft and share a bathroom that features a tub/shower along with a two-person wide single vanity.
LOFT
The loft features a 32” TV with DVD and VCR, along with a small stock of selected movies on DVD. The loft also has a queen-sized sleeper sofa and love set, a large, square coffee table and one side table with lamp. Come play the fusbol game that is also located in this open, airy room.
KITCHEN HIGHLIGHTS
The Fully Furnished Kitchen (should you want to cook) features an 18 cf. refrigerator, ultra-quiet dishwasher, self-cleaning gas oven, and a built in microwave. The kitchen also features a coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster and blender. Included are all of the plates, glasses, utensils and cooking tools/paraphernalia one would need for 8-10 people. A clock radio/cd player is located in the kitchen to keep one from getting bored while working in the kitchen.
DINING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The dining room features an oval, 8-person table and chair set situated under a glass chandelier lamp.
LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS
The living room offers a queen-sized sleeper sofa and love set and large lounge chair, which allows watching the 20“ LCD flat panel TV apart from that in the loft. In addition one can curl up on the large, leather sofa in front of the corner fireplace on a cold night. A combination radio, cd/audio tape player allows for one’s listening pleasure. The living room opens up through a sliding glass door onto a large wooden deck.
DECK
On those nice, warm summer evenings, enjoy barbecuing then eating your dinner on the large wooden deck overlooking nearby woods and with a wonderful view of mountain sunsets. Or, just lounge on the deck with your favorite libation talking with your family and friends.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
The house also has a ½ bath off the laundry room, which features an automatic washing machine and dryer.
Guests of the Dilfer Cabin will have guest privileges at the Sequoia Woods Country Club, which includes a lovely 18-hole golf course with driving range, tennis courts, swimming pool, lounge and an excellent restaurant. Guests may also have privileges at Homeowners Association facilities including a lodge with restaurant, swimming pool, two swimming lakes, tennis courts, basketball courts, ping-pong, children’s activities and children's play area.
LOCATION
The house is located in the Blue Lake Springs subdivision of Arnold, California. The house, situated on a hillside, is nestled among pine trees overlooking adjacent forests with a view of nearby mountains. It is in a quiet location, yet is near golf, swimming and tennis.
If you wish to combine activities with your relaxation, the surrounding area, from Angels Camp to Ebbetts Pass, provides a wide range of fun activities for people with almost any interest.
