Pender cottage is a 1400 square foot house plus a basement (built 1995) situated on the waterfront of Buck Lake, North Pender Island, BC. The cottage is modern with high ceilings and very large windows with beautiful views. There are two bathrooms, three bedrooms and a den (one king and one queen size beds, plus three single beds). The location is perfect to get away for a summer vacation or a winter retreat.
Pender Island is actually made up of North and South Pender Islands, joined by a bridge. The islands are located in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada, below the 49th parallel close to the Canada/U.S. border.
The islands have many hiking trails and quiet roads perfect for cycling and the surrounding waters are protected and excellent for kayaking, fishing, or diving. Also available are kayak rentals, an 18 hole golf course, and a 27 hole frizbee golf course.
The Island boasts a new hall with an impressive list of events scheduled all year. There are many artist and artisan shops. The cottage is within a ten minute walk to several ocean accesses and part of the new Gulf Islands National Park. Several other islands including Mayne, Saturna, Galiano and Saltspring can be accessed by car ferry from Pender.

- The cottage comes with a sand beach, dock, canoe, pingpong and foozeball tables, board games, and all the amenities one might need for a holiday place, including, full kitchen with Microwave, and refrigerator with an ice maker, Cooking utensils and linens are provided, as well as a washer, Smoking only outside(ok on the covered deck overlooking the lake), The islands offer all the basics including a Bank, Liquor Store, Gas Station, Bakery, Pubs, Grocery stores & a Medical Clinic
