A 5-minute walk from the beach will bring you to this cheerful 2 bedroom, 2-bath, 2nd floor villa in the Beach walk section of Shipyard Plantation. The brick tiles of the entry foyer flow through into the kitchen, which has been thoughtfully equipped (right down to the elegant wine opener!) to meet the needs of even the most demanding cook. The kitchen also has a counter with two barstools for informal meals and snacks. The adjacent formal dining area has seating for six, as well as slider doors that open to a viewing rail and provide a lovely lagoon and golf course view. The dining area is open to the living room, which is both comfortable and inviting with its fireplace, entertainment center with TV/VCR/DVD, and slider doors to an outside deck that also overlooks the lagoon and golf course. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a TV, sunny corner windows, and a private bath with a large glass shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a TV/VCR. Off the hallway are a washer and dryer alcove and a full bath with a charming pedestal sink. Shipyard Plantation is centrally located on beautiful Hilton Head Island and provides easy access to over 200 restaurants, unique shopping, and world-class golf. The plantation borders 12 miles of white sandy beach and offers bike paths, lagoons, golf courses, tennis courts, and an abundance of natural beauty. The Beach walk section of the plantation has an on-site pool and is located just a very short walk from the beach. In addition, the golf and racquet clubs are close by.

Year Purchased: 1986
We purchased the property before the boys were born. As they grew up, every year they looked forward to our family time enjoying the Hilton Head sun, surf and sand. And of course, beating their parents at golf!! We all feel like island natives and consider Hilton Head our true second home. Now they are grown and still look forward to going to the "Beach House", as do we!
